A very nice looking CUV. Kinda wish Mazda did bring it to North America, however that is not going to happen now with the release of the CX-30. I am curious though why Mazda used the instrument cluster from the Mazda2/CX-3 instead of the more technologically featured one from the Mazda3, or Mazda CX-5/CX-9.
Because every automakers seems to think the US market don't deserve the BEST from them. And yes, this certainly looks way much better than the short and squatty CX30

Mazda have a fine reputation for attention to detail with good quality interior trim materials and panel fit. Good reliability?, no question, economical?. yes indeed. Interior layout though, apart from the good quality trim? No, unfortunately I find them boring, plain, and decidedly unexciting. They need to see how the latest crop of Chinese vehicles, like the Geely Coolray,Jiaji, and Ikon present interior layouts. Today's Mazda interiors, do not seem to have changed much from the 1983 Mazda 626, I once owned, albeit they've added Sat Nav, air bags, ABS, and EBD etc. Come on Mazda, Chinese vehicles are fairly snapping at your heels. They're rolling out good looking, innovative, high Tech vehicles, which have finally addressed earlier problems that beset them in the past in regard to quality control. Now, they're well up there with the best that Japan and Korea have to offer. What truly sets them apart, is that their vehicles will come equipped with high end Tech and safety features that are optional extras on the rest. All this at an affordable price for the masses. Case in point. The Geely Coolray I'm told, was imported into the Philippines two months ago, and has blitzed the competition in outright sales. Geely Philippines will import another two variants by midyear, so I know where my Philippine pesos are heading. As always, I write this from my own personal opinion, and do acknowledge and respect others who will have a different point of view. Safe motoring to all...

Cx30 is another name of CX4 for the market outside China..
