We need to fight for the +5 DMG, I'd be happy if neither Widow nor Hanzo are able to one shot, but considering how only Widow can, it doesn't make it fair, either they both lose their one shots or they both get to keep it, the hell is with the hitscan bias in this game?

So, to sum up the light buffs...
Junkrat (Terrible): Have five more damage
Hanzo (Trash): Have a slightly faster ult
Echo (already great): Have an incredible buff to ult charge.
No literally- I don’t understand why they buffed Echo at all she’s genuinely rolling lobbies because she still has her 1 shot combo unlike other heroes after the health changes. Plus she’s super hard to hit with her small hit-box and the fact that shes a flying character….

It's kinda is, the problem is that this doesn't fix the main problem and only makes the boring/annoying playstyle more appealing
Hanzo's options as a hero have been slowly removed over the past few years man. In my opinion, he's the most watered down and disregarded hero in the game. Only good buff he's gotten was the parkour buff to his leap which was completely unnecessary.

You used dragon as a zone option because it was so bad at catching and killing people, so now you have to change your dragon placement and use it for damage now
Hanzo is useless if he can't 1 shot, he has good burst but a sniper that doesn't 1 shot isn't a good sniper, and the dragon is very situational.
As a Hanzo and Reaper main, i just absolutely hate the game at this point

They really missed out on being able to control the speed damaged of the dragon like hold back for slow or hold forward for fast

They should change it from Wallclimb to Wallrun for just Hanzo. Give Hanzo a new animation where he runs up the wall just with his feet. That way he can visibly have his bow drawn, so the Hanzo player can do those shots again, while the enemy can see he has his bow drawn and not just get sent to spawn without any notice of bow being drawn.

It's a nerf - I'm not interested in the random lucky kills because it got somewhere quicker. would be happier if they slowed it so it can be a more effective zoning tool and LOS cutting tool.
The fact they buffed Echo in a more significant way, a hero that's been performing fine and high A tier. These devs just have it against Hanzo atm

They really want to make pocketed hanzo the only way to play him. next they're gonna make it so if you pick hanzo, the game refuses to let one of your supports not pick mercy.

@@rataash Yeah I don't know why they don't just raise the skill ceiling for snipers, instead of destroying the class entirely. It would be easy to lower hanzos body shot damage but increase the headshot modifier, meaning he will be less of a tank buster (given the new tank changes) and more of a true sniper as he should be. 1 shots aren't a bad thing in a game where we have dive heroes who specialize in taking out snipers. The most annoying thing about hanzo has always been spam damage, which isn't a fun way to play hanzo anyway.

i'm even fine with reverting hanzo to how he was before, revert hitbox storm arrow if you want, but at least just add 5 to the normal bow attack digit
Give hanzo another passive. 'Honed shot' or something. If arrow travels for more than 40m, it becomes deadlier. So he gets his 1-shot back at distances 40m and above. Reverse fall-off damage.
Agreed, put storm back at 65 with the original cooldown, hitbox, everything, heck I’ll take a 225, 200 hp hanzo for the one shot back

@@Klyttorius Yes because before he just one shot no matter what and for good reason due to having a slow projectile that was one of the smallest projectiles in the game before the hitbox buff
"We know how much people hate Hanzo when he's being damage boosted. To make up for this, we've buffed his ultimate so that Hanzo mains will be more encouraged to get damage buffed. For the next update, we plan to attach a miniature bap window to the notch in his bow."
The Bap window would mean he may not need a pocket to one shot, which would revert it back to old Hanzo, which would be fine. I think what makes people mad is that pocketing playstyle steals one player of your team to work with solely only one other. If the teammate is good and actually gets insane shit done as a result like Arrge, then I don't understand why people get so mad. On the flip side, a good Mercy would know when the person they're pocketing is not doing enough to warrant having their undivided blue beam attention, and should just swap their pocket, start healing more, or change their hero if they play other heroes.
Hanzo is like a phara now but without the flying part.

Honestly i like headshots in the game (from a support player). Because the game is about different abilities obviously a SNIPER will SNIPE. Thats their job. To one shot. To be dead instantly. And if hanzo cant and they get rid of widows headshot later on then thats just stupid to me
One shot are horrible and miserable sorry to say but you can’t be very high rank if you think one shots are good or even fun to play against

I'll never understand this mindset of "yeah let's not reward the sniper for getting a good pick, nevermind this is the entire identity of their class to begin with". You're not wrong, one shots are annoying and super easy one shots like a sojourn farming rail on the tank and tapping a squishy or a junkrat double tapping everything are just annoying because of this bullshit spamming Playstyle these characters often fall into, Hanzo not one shoting just promotes even more the annoying spamzo playstyle and makes him redundant when I could play Ashe or Cassidy
The only way to balance snipers widow/Hanzo with headshots is to give them both either 175 or 200 health. High risk, high reward.
@@pepekovallin very very VERY simple the higher the rank the better the player and player like arrge are not in plat so you won’t be getting one shot on cooldown. Higher rank players are very good at abusing the meta and maximizing a characters potential. Ofc a low rank player would enjoy one shot they probably die like 1 time a game while 80% of my deaths are been one shot also the reward your talking about is for VERY VERY LOW RISK insanely high reward one pick can turn and win a fight and that can turn into a snowball. junk is annoying sure but balanced and fair he need to get up close there is counter play and sojourn is just a prime example of how BAD blizzard is a balancing.

They already fked up the game by giving making every hero a “big head” mode.
Devs need to lengthen dragon because it cant be used to zone as reliably.
Add back precharged arrow after climbing and increase arrow damage in some situations, like after parkouring or sonar
How about adding fall off damage for the arrows? 0-50(?) Meters it will do 250hp, and fall off to 240 or less afterwards.
Also the same for Widowmaker.
On a side note: I have never ever felt bad getting one shotted by a Hanzo and thinking its broken, Widow on the other hand I do ever since OW1 beta, since it is a hitscan and not a projectile.

Does the dragon tick faster now, or is it because the “length” of the dragon passing through enemies is more because of the speed increase? It looked like the enemies killed by the dragon died pretty quickly, but I could be wrong on this.

Personally i love using dragons and pushing with it. This means i can dragon and storm arrow to get picks simultaneously
tbf I always use dragon as zoning tool like using high noon as reloading tool
I got a triple kill and a quad kill just after patch. I had NEVER gotten a quad (bc it's an achievement, so it pops up when you get it) and just one or two triples ever, so it did feel impactful to me. While I don't main hanzo or anything, I do like this buff since it makes his ult easier to use to kill someone. Not sure how to feel about him still not one tapping tho. mixed feelings I guess

I would rather use dragon as a zoning tool or a quick gotcha moment through a wall. If they want us to play a more agressive playstyle with hanzo then give him a faster draw speed instead? Or give storm arrows with more richochets? Or how about one of the april fool patches for hanzo? Either the shotgun like burst of storm arrows in the last one or the homing storm arrow when target is hit by a sonic arrow?
I had to take a break from the game. When I came back, Hanzo was unplayable. I had hopes for this update, but I think I'm gonna quit completely.

Maybe remove the slowdown effect while drawing the bow.
In low ranks the dragon worked but was sm better when used with zar or orisa ult or something like that
Ah yes making an ultimate that has a pretty long cast time for it's value faster is such a game changer considering it can only travel in a straight line at a set speed you can't even control

The problem with making the ult travel faster is that it's gone quicker. I'm not sure if this is a buff or a tweak.

The damage tick is the same but the dragon is moving faster so players can’t dodge as easily

especially as a solo player the new hanzo playstyle is terrible. feels awful to play, and since mercy is so bad rn the chances a random goes mercy and pockets hanzo is super low

its a buff/nerf, not either bc yea it reaches faster, but at the same time is damaging for less time, plus unless it rotates faster, thats just less time someone could stand BETWEEN the dragons while it rotates and dodge it

Yahh. Sad news remained. Hanzo pocketed playstyle will stay with us. I just maintain to keep my rank level at silver or gold then I can keep flanking hanzo in active. Accuracy dropped quite a bit, but so far so good I having fun with that. Hanging around, try to headshot someone, sometimes pick up someone unfull-healed still turns me on. See the whole enemy team left checkpoint and struggling hunting me down in rage out of nowhere in the map just cracks me up as hell as always 🤣🤣🤣. I won't change myself with this. Hope y'all approach ways to get hanzo adapted enjoyably.
We reduced the ultimate speed to 13.5 and increased the ultimate cost by 10 or 15%.
And there is no damage buff for Hanzo. This is what I think will happen next season.

Hey man, this might be a hot fucking take a right? But I’m willing to say it anyways these so-called buffs to Hanzo’s dragons they kind of suck. It doesn’t help you get more elimination‘s, because that wasn’t what was stopping hanzo for me eliminations from his dragons in the first place. The reason why Hanzo could not get and or struggled to get illuminations with his dragons is because of damn near every single character in the game, having hyper mobility and rumors holidays making the dragons move faster doesn’t do anything for that like yeah the dragons move faster now., And? What else what’s the point also I liked when dragons move slower and help me zone areas and hold space for the team if anything if you’re gonna make them faster, at least make them longer at the very least so you can still have the opportunity to hold the same exact amount of space hanzo didn’t need this and obviously the developers don’t know anything about the character at all
The problem with Hanzo is that if you make to much base dmg you are more likely to get focused and end up needing one supp to stay with you or you just get rushed
(in low elo its realy annoying ). The satisfaction on sniping someone isnt there anymore couse you cant play sniper Hanzo anymore but thats what he basicaly is suposed to be.
His overall identity got shattered and thats what is realy bothering me.
