Please explain. I have 2 Borla s type crate mufflers and resonators to install on my 89 LX and can’t decide between H or X. Struggling to find a stainless steel mud pipe. I have BBK shortys but idk maybe long tube is the way.
@@OneStillPondif you just want to put some pep in your step and don’t care so much about being the fastest car out there equal length shortys are going to be your go to I have a 4.6 2v truck and a 4.6 2v mustang, the shortys provide a much smoother sound and I can actually replace the starter and clutch without having to lift or tilt the motor the stang has long tubes and it makes maintenance a NIGHTMARE but the power increases from the flow is worth it for me for a balanced sound id go shortys with x pipe all day they provide a much sportier sound and you will still be able to work on your stuff
Don't know about the Flowmasters, as I shy away from them, but the XR-1s would be noticeably louder and a bit pricier. The ProXS mufflers tend to be just slightly louder than stock, but with more bass and great attitude. The XR-1 Sportsman mufflers clearly give away that your car is modded.
Clean fox, always love those pro xs sounds, really quiet in cruising but enough loud at wot.

How would you compare these as far as sound level to the xr1 or flowmaster 40
