Excellent, straight forward, clear, concise pcall tutorial. Thank you for not only providing me great information, but also for getting straight to the point and not wasting time. Great job! "Liked" your video and "subscribed" to you.
cool! gave me a good understanding on how to use pcalls! i always saw them in module scripts and stuff and i can see how theyre useful now. although in this example it doesnt seem all that necessary to me.. i mean you could just do --[[ local part = workspace:FindFirstChild("Part") if part then part.BrickColor = BrickColor.Random() end print("Hello!") ]]-- and it'd be the exact same, just without the mention of error.
yep i know that, just had to let people know in case they thought this would be the only way to do this. also pcall is useful for plenty more things other than data stores
Hi I’m using a console script in my game and I entered a script for me to troll and then this thing appear Expected identifier when parsing expression, got Unicode character U+201c (did you mean ‘“‘?) Is there anyway to fix this?
I'm adding to it whenever I can :) Also here's the rest of the series if you're interested (I already have a few episodes in it, it's more of a playlist of advanced tutorials though instead of a series): th-cam.com/play/PLfAg6nOoAuSlSExUb8h3-sUNkyU54r6X0.html

it was just an example. You dont really need to use pcall on this function, pcall is recommended to use in dataStore functions
