I'm a simple Englishman, the car stops because the engine sucks water, the first thing to do is immediately try to start it so it sucks even more water, damn you are geniuses.
Also when the engine makes horrible noises, lets keep starting and revving

I'm so glad I'm subbed on the FB and TH-cam to your channel. And it's great to see this video has more content than FB. I still don't understand how people forget that their cylinders are supposed to compress air and combustible gas instead of water sucked in through the air intake. If you put water in the cylinder just the inertia of the piston is going to blow your engine out.
I would bet the vast majority of people do not know enough about engines to know that compression is a key part of their operating principle and I wouldn't be surprised if most people don't realize or remember that liquid doesn't compress. So now expect people to realize or remember both of those things and put that knowledge together... It's frustrating (or amusing depending on your personal view of the matter), but that's just the way it is. I wish people knew more about the basics of cars and car maintenance myself.
Ultimately, is it more fair to blame the people or the education system?
@@audioman612 Might not be even the education system, but rather the general awareness of the environment and content that surrounds us. I'm subbed to STEM content on youtube and I instantly ask the YT algorithm not to show me news/showbiz/reaction videos. As a result I get more of STEM content. Sometimes I listen to music.
In the past we had to use our hunting skills to assess the data, so we stay alive. Now we have everything within our reach of our hand (within a single click), so I would say that comfy life is putting our crucial skills to slumber.
@@OmegaMikePL Yeah, that's fair. Still, I feel like these things would be a bit better if you were required to learn some basics in order to get a license. I think everyone should know what the standard warning lights that pretty much every car has mean and how to respond them.

Many e-bikes do not have their motors sufficiently well-sealed against rain, let alone floods!
Moral of the story...IF you see standing water that's higher than your knees..turn back....unless your well off then by all means go through then have a chill by the road reflecting while waiting for recovery truck
