@@sailingwithsix Thank you for the response. You might think so, but there is a lot I didn't know. Sailing and flying have a lot in common. The aerodynamic principles that allow a wing to create lift are the same principles that allow your catamaran to sail into the wind on a close haul.

So glad you got to see the Blue Angels fly. I live next to their base in Pensacola Beach. From one parent to another , I would avoid the big cities when visiting America. Try the Gulf of Mexico. It’s very family friendly or if you do the east coast try Amelia Island or St. Simons. Larger US cities is like being in a foreign country to many US citizens. Try sticking to smaller beach towns if you really want a true feel of the USA. Good luck to y’all!

As an American, I find it ironic and frankly disgraceful that our customs and immigration makes it so difficult for good and honest people to visit our nation whilst simultaneously turning a blind eye to the millions that have broken the law by crossing illegally at our southern border. Those that are doing that have no time restrictions as you do with your 90 days. In any case glad to have you here and hope you enjoy your stay. Safe travels guys 🙏💞

OKAY, I will try to reconstruct the events chronologically. So Archie sits there in his... not sure if it's "underchunders". THEN he gets into the clothes he will be flying to the US in. AND THEN he climbs some ropes to go get a kayak for the family. Which btw is both commendable AND cool. BUT! What if he fell in or touched water!? He would be SOAKING wet and would either have to brave the fifth ocean WET or have to change when all the clothes is packed or put away. Every time I watch your episodes I think GOD, I wish I was there as a voice of reason! Climb the ropes over water THEN get dressed. DUH!

Also didn’t appreciate that dig saying the US makes it more difficult to sail here “with a different accent and a different passport” lol are u serious??? There are plenty of people who come to the US with much different accents than yours! I’ve also seen many that have accents similar to yours that have had no issues bc they did what was required beforehand. I’m not saying the US is perfect by any means but that was a low blow comment to make especially when you didn’t do the correct requirements. Such a shame bc normally I really like your channel. I follow quite a few sailing channels, and the only non-American ones I have seen so far were the family from Sweden, Sailing Nohma. I don't recall them pointing out any specific issues regarding entry, but they likely had a different visa. Mothership Adrift is from Britain, and they are on the way to the US to sail up the East Coast, so it will be interesting to see what their experience is like. For some reason, there was a bit of confusion regarding Zatara. They are originally from Texas, Keith was in the oil business before they started sailing. I would be interested to hear his views on "approved carriers" as he has strong opinions on how difficult it was for them to enter and leave Saudi Arabia.
