Hi all! As of Feb 15th 2022, all *Origin Stories & Combat Styles* are being seperated. What this means is, you can choose a story to play in character creation now, and then seperately choose which *combat style* you want to play. These are divided into force and tech categories. Much later in the game, when you complete your origin story arc (chapter 3) the game will allow you to choose a second combat style. This system is basically dualspec. You could add sorcerer style to your juggernaut later, so you can swap between the styles on one character. This feature is backed up by loadouts which can be saved. Any questions just ask! I love the Juggernaut/Guardian classes, especially as Tanks. There's just something appealing to deflecting blaster bolts and keeping your allies covered that's so satisfying.
it better. The broken and bloody corpse that is WoW which is losing more players than its gaining is still around so SWTOR wont be going anywhere anytime soon. The replayability in SWTOR ensures that players stick around (I fully intend to do all class campaigns twice with each playthru being devoted to either dark or light side)
Yeah dude WoW is losing subs but the same thing is happening to the SWTOR. And people who quit WoW don't even think about trying out SWTOR. Most of them choose games like TESO, BD, FFXIV etc. And so far WoW doesn't have to worry as they still have the biggest player base. Not to mention that WoW players get a lot of new content while we SWTOR players haven't seen a new expansion for over a year now. And we are only getting some shitty small updates. So if in your opinion WoW is a bloody corpse then what SWTOR is?

if you are coming wow, immortal jugg is basically prot warrior with more of a action packed rotation. you have the classics :thunder clap, sunder armor, cleave, taunt & mass taunt, execute and so forth. you will feel at home for tanking.
I wish there was a whole article on the mechanics of swtor classes and abilities compared to WoW. That would be sick. I've grown up with the fantasy archetypes so I would find that interesting.

@@swcentral So here is what I was thinking. Creating a video talking about all the classes in a some of detail about how they compare to classes in wow maybe a 10 minute video or so. And if that does well enough having individual videos taking about the specifics of how each class directly compares. I honestly don't know how viable it would be though because I don't know if enough classes are similar enough. But that idea has always interested me.
So i played a jedi sentinel til i think level 20 and it definitely has more of a kotor feel. The decisions seem to carry more weight being on the light side. Its not really boring not super interesting but a good middle. I then made a sith juggernaut im loving the characters mannerisms to he way he stands and talks to how he uses a lightsaber. The decisions dont feel so final either. I can choose some dark side options and not feel bad and also choose some light side options and be okay. The beginning part of the sith side already has me laughing as well

My immortal juggernaut has been my main for so long now. He practically IS immortal and I've played him up character trait wise to be a bonafide defender of the empire and his people with no restraint against enemies of said empire and his own people. Favorite class through and through.
Commando or nothing for me. I find all of the Class Stories are good in different ways. The Consular is interesting because it has heavy lore in the first act, diplomacy in the second act, and war leadership for the third act. Although I think some of the class stories could have done much more (especially the Trooper third act) they all have great moments (I personally like the Trooper second act where you destroy an Imperial superweapon).
Any chance you could give uss a full list of the armor and dye's used for the jedi knight here ? reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally like it i tried ruthless scion but thats not what u are using :D

I have been watching your videos for a while and I noticed that when someone starts off on a new character, they give them armor that is straight from their storage, I wanted to know how can I do that?
This is done using the collections system. Collections is linked with almost all the items from the cartel market. You can spend cartel coins to unlock an armour set, weapon and mounts ect to claim on any of your characters at any time. Ctrl + C is the shortcut for opening collections, take a look :)
I'm finding swtor is a little more button heavy than some other mmos. I'm trying to decide if I want to play through the knight story as a gaurdian ot a sentinel. Anyone have thoughts as to what's more fun for solo play? I tend to like things are a bit more proc heavy because it takes a lot of the guess work out of my rotation lol
Guardian all the way. For more fun to play then Sentinel. Can be tank or dps for one. Sents are just dps. Gaurdian has a push back more powerful then a consolor. Guardians also have a friendly leap that does not require you to be in a group together like the Sage friendly pull. a bit later for this i guess, but for future readers... Guardian. The ability to switch between tank and dps makes it much easier to play with companions, specially if you want to rotate them or just play with their setup. Sentinels are far more limited in that regard, can't trully switch roles.
I tried playing as a jugg and got bored of their defensive fighting style after korriban. The maurader is harder to learn but more fun to play as once you have learned it's fighting style. Just run up to enemies, hack and slash them, heal then go to the next enemies.
Question, I still haven’t used my token to jumpstart to lever 65 or whatever it is. Based on play style, what class should I choose to use this token for?

Powertech is close, but not top. Juggernaut is good, but in my opinion the least. My chart would be Assassin >> Powertech > Juggernaut. Again, this is just opinion based on experience. All tanks are fine for all content.
Anyone can run a vanguard tank pretty well. Guardians aren’t too much more difficult. Shadows are rather tricky but when played best are definitely the best tank right now. This may change with 6.0
Well that is up to you! I like Juggernaut more becasue of the cooldowns and good dps. But Marauder is a pure DPS only class where you can put a lot of dmg if you good at it. Also double sabers so yeah. Up to you :)

Tulak Hord Set Boi! Pro tipp: Check for individual Parts rather than the boxes with the whole Set. At least on the German Server this is far cheaper on some Sets. For Example: Havoc Squad Set: Whole Set Box = 150 Million / bought every Piece individually = 50 Million Broken Revan Set: Box 115 Million / Piece by Piece = 40 Million
Vengeance juggernaut! It's super easy and really fun to okay. The other damage spec is also very easy to play, but personally I've always preferred vengeance. I can't remember the Guardians version, I'll come back and edit!
Also there is no Need to call People who enjoy pve faggots. Unless you are a vastly underaged Child that pre-orders every Call of Duty game. In that case you shall continue, but prepare to be ignored by Adults.
SWTOR Central I just started with this rotation I found in the comments & I do more dps in PvP than I did with Vengeance. I also do more dps as Rage than I do Vengeance.
Just came for some info on the disciplines that are available.. Vengeance maybe better for PVE, but it is the worst of the 3 for PVP. Rage is the best for single target PVP, with Immortal skank tank (using tank spec geared as DPS) as a close 2nd. For warzones it's a coin toss.
I do still think Vengeance is viable in PVP, but I just think that it's not quite as good as Rage. And just to clarify, I talking about duels, not warzones. I know Vengeance has better AOE abilities than Rage, which is good for group fighting. I personally don't have that much experience playing the Juggernaut class, I'll admit. My primary is a Marauder. My friend however does know it very well. In fact, he started playing as a Vengeance Jugg (back when the level cap was 60), but then eventually switched to Rage because it seemed better for duels. But, even as Vengeance he was very good. These days, I can't even compete, even though we're similarly geared. The burst damage of Rage is crazy. I've seen him hit over 31k damage single hits against opponents, and thats with an incomplete set of tier 2 gear.
Which of the DPS force classes and spec can use both a saber and lightning attacks to good effect and not just the saber OR force lightning? Thank you.
To me, it's because the Knight, either subclass, is almost like a fencer. Very light on their feet, elegant swordplay, and focus. Whereas the Warrior is brute strength, aggression, and a "brawler" style of fighting. Though I do prefer the brutal looks of the Juggernaut animations, myself. It's just so viscerally Sith to me.

Juggernaut was the first class I played all the way back at launch. They did a good job of making you feel like an unstoppable force.

SWTOR Central I just started with this rotation I found in the comments & I do more dps in PvP than I did with Vengeance. I also do more dps as Rage than I do Vengeance.
SWTOR Central Alright I rerolled to Vengeance and you were right the dps for me in PvP is better. I am learning more of it for PvE though.
What armour is on your juggernaut at 2.55

No difference at all, if both were wearing the same gear then they would be identical.
Vengeance maybe better for PVE, but it is the worst of the 3 for PVP. Rage is the best for single target PVP, with Immortal skank tank (using tank spec geared as DPS) as a close 2nd. For warzones it's a coin toss.
I would highly disagree ;) But each to their own for which spec to play for PvP.
I do still think Vengeance is viable in PVP, but I just think that it's not quite as good as Rage. And just to clarify, I talking about duels, not warzones. I know Vengeance has better AOE abilities than Rage, which is good for group fighting. I personally don't have that much experience playing the Juggernaut class, I'll admit. My primary is a Marauder. My friend however does know it very well. In fact, he started playing as a Vengeance Jugg (back when the level cap was 60), but then eventually switched to Rage because it seemed better for duels. But, even as Vengeance he was very good. These days, I can't even compete, even though we're similarly geared. The burst damage of Rage is crazy. I've seen him hit over 31k damage single hits against opponents, and thats with an incomplete set of tier 2 gear.

Which of the DPS force classes and spec can use both a saber and lightning attacks to good effect and not just the saber OR force lightning? Thank you.
There is none of that. The closest i can think of is Assassin/Shadow. But he is using more of his lightsaber aswell but more Force abilites aswell

To me, it's because the Knight, either subclass, is almost like a fencer. Very light on their feet, elegant swordplay, and focus. Whereas the Warrior is brute strength, aggression, and a "brawler" style of fighting.
Though I do prefer the brutal looks of the Juggernaut animations, myself. It's just so viscerally Sith to me.
