    This is a wonderful change! So glad that Cricut has finally listened to it’s users, it has always seemed like such a waste of materials when using print then cut. Thanks so much Jennifer for getting this information out to us so early!

    Thank you! I just watched several videos on this new update, and you were the only one to show that you can print a bigger image on an 8.5 x 11 paper, thus having less waste. Everyone else was focused on the new, huge sizes that can be made. That's great too, but I'm very happy to know I can now waste way less of my expensive sticker paper!

  • @janicebaker58

    I was really excited by this update as I use print then cut all the time. Being able to make bigger prints is fabulous.
    My hope is that they will also soon add the option to use print then cut on SMALLER page sizes too. Sometimes I want to print and cut a handful of decoupage pieces, and don't want to waste a full sheet of letter size paper (or try to find other images to fill up the space) Imagine if we could use our 5X7 or 4X6 photo paper sheets. That would be great!

    I am super excited. I just sent an email to cricut this morning, requesting for larger sizes because when I do sublimation I need larger sizes and did not want to have to continue to use another software to do my designs. So grateful you’re sharing this just in time.😉🥰

    Omg!!! I never thought I would see the day. I was just complaining about the limited cutting space tonight. Saying I was going to buy a Cameo. I think they were losing customers to silhouette. Whatever the case I’m thrilled! Thanks for showing us the update.

    This is OUTSTANDING! I, like millions of others I'm sure have suggested a larger size a million times. Wasting about 33% of a standard letter size sheet is a total waste of money - ESPECIALLY when you're using special [Cricut] media that isn't cheap. I'd like to be able to "trick the Cricut" (Tricut?) into a larger size for a standard size sheet. There are videos out there - including buy you, but they were from before the Maker 3 was out. (At least as of the last time I looked...)

    QUESTION PLEASE: Hi Jennifer! :) I'm trying to use print and cut to make acrylic photo keychains, and the acrylic blanks are a specific size. So if I enlarge by hitting auto resize, it will make them too big for my blanks won't it? Can I fit more of the actual size print and cut's in the resized area somehow so that I can cut more of them at the actual correct size to fit the acrylic blanks, or am I stuck using the old size limitations for this particular project? Thanks in advance for answering my questions! Love all that you do, your videos and website are so helpful!

      @sallytaylor2857 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@reneeboyd7695 Hi Renee, I have the same printer. You know, now that I think about it, they can’t do 12x12 as there is no place to put the registration marks, even the new locations in the corners. So whatever the 11” measurement works out to for PTC would be the max size square that would fit a 12x12 sheet. Although you would still require a 24” mat to cut it since the next size up from letter is 11x17. (Hmmm, maybe if they tweak the software to allow 11x11?)

Won't load My Stuff as fast or open the projects very fast. Has anyone else faced this problem? • @maryniederlander3775

    While I welcome the change to sizes available for Print then Cut users. But I currently print onto a variety of Printable Media > Printable magnet sheets, Printable Sticker Paper, Printable Vinyl, Printable Glitter cardstock, Printable Cotton sheets, Printable Iron On Transfer sheets, and of course Printable Cardstock. But with the exception of Cardstock and Photo paper, it is very difficult to find larger sizes than 8.5 x 11 of Printable media types. So for me currently the new sizes would be only usable on larger Cardstock and photo papers in a Wide Format printer. It is also important to note that the new Sizing of printable area limitation depends on the Shape of the actual print image. In your example you showed the Egg as your image. If you wanted to print out a pattern filled *Rectangle* using the printable area limitation for a Legal size of paper - 8.5 x 11 , which is listed as 7.44 x 12.25 inches, you would get an Error message saying your shape is too large for the legal size of paper. Cricut needs to educate the user as the best way to actually fit images within the new limitations. Previously I could just set up a rectangle sized to 6.75 x 9.25 and size and arrange as many images as would fit within that sized area. Now I am unable to do that even with the larger sizes. I can't put a 7.44 x 9.62 rectangle on the canvas and fit as many different sized images within it and fill up entire rectangle space, without getting an error message for printing the images on a 8.5 x 11 sheet of printable media.

    This is great! I thought about putting my illustrator skills to use by starting to get into making stickers. The old print and cut size seemed like a bit of a deterrent for me to not want a Cricut :( Due to the size, I almost opted for a Silhouette Cameo 4 but I hear that those machines are so loud. Doing some more research, I stumbled upon your video and now I think that I may just go for the Cricut :) Thank you for the info!

    What a game changer this will make for sublimation especially on cotton without having to use DTF hack! You can add an offset easily to designs and cut with HTV Ront’s clear sublimation HTV!! There’s a great tutorial idea for you!! 😊😊. My mind is racing with ways to use this for sublimation

    Hi , Jennifer I have a 3700 HP jet printer in trying to print a team roping out on print and cut with vinyl but for some reason the vinyl doesn't fit in my printer feeder where the paper goes. Can you please send me some advice. Thank you. Mona.

    Hi Jennifer, I followed this video on how to change the print then cut page size what I need is 11 x 7 it’s a template for a cup and I’m looking on the drop-down menu and it’s got 80 3 x 11.7 8.5 x 11 and then 8.5 x 14 then 11 x 17 and 11.7 x 16.5 is there any way to customize this?

    Hi. I love your tutorials. I have updated to Beta 7.28.131 and even calibrated my machine. So I'm attempting to print my tumbler print of 9.25 x 8 size and it's still isnt printing larger. I have selected the 11x17 tablet size and it continues to print small. Does my printer have to be able to print 11x17, because my EPSON 2720 only goes up to 8.5x11. Any tips?

    • @JenniferMaker
      @JenniferMaker  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Your printer has to be able to print the larger paper size.
