Hey there. You don't get charged for a stopped EC2 instance. You might get charged for some other resources if they are attached to that stopped EC2 instance, like EBS volume, EIP address etc. For more information on this topic, please review the following: go.aws/3Sthh6l. 🔍 Should you require any additional guidance, reach out to our Support team here: go.aws/support-center. 📝 ^AM
Hi there, and thanks for your question. ❔ Here is a table that lays out the differences and outcomes associated with each option you have available for your instances: go.aws/3v7FrdM. Whether you're rebooting, stopping hibernating or terminating your instance, you may find this info useful. ℹ️ ^DC
1:29 Well, thats really feels like a misguidance, "Always free" does not states within a limit, it states "Always free", things like that should be changed to a proper statement or prosecuted as false advertisement.

Hi! 👋 You will only be charged if you exceed the Free Tier limits of a service. ❌ The charge you see has been caused by this. You can find more information on the limits related to our RDS service, here: go.aws/3R8VEWO. 👈 ^RF
No problem at all with the charges themselves, but you can't say a service is free if it has limits that will cost you something if you cross those limits. It'll make more sense to provide a service with less features and no limits and call it free instead "free with limits".
All right then, thanks for your feedback! 🎙️ We value customer opinions, and want to make sure it gets to the right team. If you like, please take a look at this article: go.aws/feedback. It details how to get your info seen and considered by the appropriate team. ^DC
