Hi gorgeous! I was just wondering if you forgot to put the link to the Mylar folder tool that you made. I can’t see anything. Can you please share the link again. Thanks and keep up the great work! ❤️
Thanks raymen! As far as I know, any dense cake recipe can be used. I would NOT recommend using only a box mix, spiff it up with added ingredients. You can check out my recipes here: auntiescakery.com/category/recipe/
Thanks for asking Stephanie! First, I made some homemade Marshmallow fondant: th-cam.com/video/Jsz0pBVa-i4/w-d-xo.html , Then (As I do for all my Dark colored fondants) I purchase a pound or two of pre-colored fondant. Mix 1/2 store bought, 1/2 homemade. Then, I used Royal blue mixed with violet food color until the color was just the way I like it. The reason I use 1/2 and 1/2, is because when I use a lot of food coloring (And it takes a lot!) the marshmallow fondant looses it elasticity. The store-bought makes up for that, and I end up with a nicer smoother fondant than homemade alone. Hope that helps! I also take questions on this site if you'd like to donate to my channel. No pressure :) www.wisio.com/AuntiesCakery
This cake was for a client! The ones I do just for videos usually end up partially eaten by my family, given to a neighbor, or sadly, tossed into the trash.

Do you whip the chocolate ganache before you use it? Thanks.
Sometimes I do, Sometimes I don't, depending on how dense I want the chocolate. The ganache on this cake, I whipped it just a bit.
@@auntiescakery Thank you.
Tracey, that is just stunning love it!!❤

Love it! How did you get that Amazing dark blue to your fondant?

I'm curious....was this a cake for a client, a special event, or just for the TH-cam channel? Who's eating all of these great cakes you're making?
