    I've lived through my investors asking for all the wrong things in updates. Long, winding and mostly irrelevant information. Glad to see you hit the nail right on its head (for founders)

    This is great Steve--thanks! These points are great--but it would be great if you could post an example of what this actually looks like in writing. An example of an update when things are going well and one where they're not would be helpful to see. Doesn't have to be a real company or real numbers--just looking to get a better example of good language to include. Also, could you explain any additional standard appendices that should be included? I would assume the 3 standard financials (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flows), but are there others that should be on this list that get sent with every update? Thanks again for your excellent work in this space.
