Smashin’ Rob. Watched and enjoyed every second of this wonderful video Rob. One day I would love to visit that amazing factory. I’ve stood outside but didn’t go in. BiG love Rob and BiG ♥️XP and all the XP crew. Stay well and be lucky🤞🏻
This was the best video of the xp factory ! What an amazing job you did and it was done so professionally! Thanks for much for taking us along for the journey ! 🎉👍😊
I’m glad you dedicated a full 15 minutes of this video to the XP factory tour and only four minutes of you talking into the WebCam. If you talked for a 15 minutes, it might’ve been as interesting as a four hour documentary on the history of nutmeg.
Totally understand. If you’re not familiar with it look at the XP Deus ll WS6 Master option. Same performance for half the price. Just water resistant, not waterproof. I own one and use as my backup.
I live exactly 100 miles south of the Florida 1715 Fleet and that looks so much better than the other deep detectors - I am having flashbacks of putting together and using a Two Box detector like 30 years ago - I know I used to have an Electroscope 301 that led me to three shipwrecks that I was not aware was there at the time - I needed this to pin point some hits I had on Ft Pierce sites -
That sounds incredible. I’ll be heading down to Ocala for an RV rally in March. Hoping to hit a few of your beaches then so pls try and leave a few bits and bobs for me. ;)
Yes. You can order it snd other accessories from most dealers but you have to make sure it’s new stock and not one of the older mounts. I’d advise doing so via a phone call vs just ordering online.
Try this link to order it below. But before, as Rob said, you can try to call them to be sure they have the new one. But from what i know they only have the new one in stock.
Here’s a link to a dealer that I’ve been told has the newly configured control mount. (Their web photo was not updated but they carry the new mount). seriousdetecting.com/products/xp-plastic-mounting-bracket-kit-for-remote-control-for-deus-deus-ii-and-orx-lmetal-detector
Great informative video. I’ve heard nothing but good from the Deus 2. Even hardcore Garrett guys I know are closet Deus users. lol. Plus, I love the name Deus, it comes from Latin for God.
I bought an old White's TM 800 years ago and boy! The threshold drift was not fun to deal with. Had to retune every few feet with a button on the tip of the carrying handle. You could flip a switch and make it more stable but lost depth in doing so. I'm sure the XP version of the 2 box is much more user friendly.
Never used the whites version but I’m told this is massively different due to XPs fast multi frequency technology. It was pretty quiet/stable. Did have to retune a few times along the way. Was very impressed with it.
Indeed it would have been but that also would have potentially exposed some proprietary info. It was gracious for them to approve what you saw. Thank you for watching and commenting.
@@TheHistoryDigger1 I get that. I'm just saying that I've seen many videos of folks touring others like Nokta and Minelab, etc... they have a welcome center entrances, which has detectors from their first one through current model, and things like that.

Thanks Jeff. Look forward to catching up.
Great video, Rob! That was professional and what I would expect a video from touring the factory should be. You really did a good job, buddy! 👍
Thank you. Much appreciated!

It was super impressive and souther France was beautiful!
I was on the fence between a Minelab or XP...but your video convinced me to go with XP. I just pulled the trigger and ordered a D2! Wish me luck!

Pls tell me that you also write book reviews. Lol…thank you…I think.
Enjoyed the video. Great to see how they are manufactured. Out of my price range but a great detector. I'm still old an school detectorist.

Any idea if the new improved controller mount will be available by itself? I have broken a couple of them. Thanks for the video.

Would of been even better, had you actually showed some video from inside the factory and assembly line, instead of default videos from their website.

Totally. It’s incredible how light it is plus I love the PWM audio. Super informative. Thx for watching!!
