I have to disagree with Marco. I would not bench Chukuweze who’s been on form this preseason for Chiesa who had a poor season with Juventus by his standards. If Chiesa comes to Milan, he needs to fight for his place in our squad.

For me inter still is favorite because defensively are better. Juve will need time to adapt Thiago Motta system they will fight for top4 this year . Hmmm as a Roma fan I am nowhere near as optimistic about our chances as you guys seem to be... 1) we have massively overpaid for Soule who only played well for the 1st half of the season and I think it is pretty worrying that once the other teams worked out how to defend against him that he only scored 1 goal in the final 4months of last season. 2)i watch a lot of ligue1 & LeFee was possibly the worst player in a massively underperformed Rennes last season. It makes no sense to me to sell Aouar for 12m and replace him with someone who did even worse for 23m🤷. & to make things worse we are also trying to sign Assignon from Rennes who not only wasn't considered good enough for them, but was sent out on loan to the EPL where he immediately got relegated. 3) the LB position is also a problem. Problem with Atalanta is once they get a player to a high level they won’t pay him more then 2.5m a year. So koop lookman realise they are at a level they can go to a giant club and make atleast double that a year then a club strikes and they fold, suddenly theirs no more love. But that’s also the Beauty of Atalanta they stay in their budget and do great things with it.
