I wish they had continued to use real switches for the minor controls as used in the first version of the Panamera. When will car manufactures learn that there are a significant number of people who hate the touch-screen solution that they have forced upon us?
@@AutoBears Many thanks for the reply. Yes, it is certainly better than the touch screen. I see that Skoda has previewed an interior of one of its higher end models and they are making a big fuss about it actually having buttons and knobs as if they are a new invention. Given that they are part of the VAG group it's possible this thinking could migrate up their model range to the Porsches.
@@ColinMill1 you’re most welcome Colin. We’ve seen this with Audi already with the e-tron and the Q4 where it went from a Touch screen air-con system to physical buttons. If customers have their say I’m sure Porsche will respond.
Great review, am negotiating for one tomorrow….this helps a lot
Glad to help Thomas. Good luck with your negotiations. Let me know how it goes.
Superb review thankyou.
You’re most welcome. I’m glad you enjoyed it.

It is an unfortunate thing to see but I would rather the touch sensitive buttons than everything controlled via the touch screen.

No driving?
Maybe a follow up video. I think mr auto bears is trying different formats to see how they take off.
There is a driving video coming.
Just with them together it’s a long video. This way it’s spread nicely.
