what did you use to restore the plastic trim if you don't mind me asking, I know a couple products but would like to have some insight from someone else and how it may work for someone else. Do you have one you would recommend?
When I think Bull Bar I think Damage Multiplier. You are putting something that has aesthetic value only. No protection. If you are cool with that then you be you but any dreams of this thing adding any kind of real protection is just that, dreams. They are great for hanging lights on but terrible for ground clearance when you go off road and if you hit something it will damage your vehicle in a way that would not have happened had you not had it installed. For protection get a replacement bumper installed, preferably one that can rock a winch for recovery or at least has recover hooks and is attached in a way that wont damage the vehicle during recovery. Do not attempt recovery attaching to one of these bull bars. If its all just for looks then ignore me, I'm not your boss I just dont like bull bars due to the illusory views people have of them. Same goes for step rails that reduce ground clearance and offer negative protection to the vehicle.

Did you use the Westin Safari brackets? Or what brackets did you get that fit the crv recovery points?
Sorry I got them westin and they had an option on the site for the 1st gen crv brackets and yes that’s where they go!

We usually use back to black it works great!
