Sorry to hear about your brother 💔 But a nice easteregg/memorial to preserve in the archive. My math storm was "math blaster"

Thanks. He has been gone many years now, but the name on the disk and its existence online is a cool little time capsule.

OMG I've been looking for this game for decades! I played this back in the early 90's in school and loved it! I now know what I'll be doing this weekend!

I loved these games. Especially Treasure Mountain, Cove, Galaxy.

I think Gizmos and Gadgets was my favorite one. I have played most of them except Galaxy.

In elementary school we had a spelling bee- and when someone lost they let us use the computers. Needless to say most of us pretended to spell words wrong to get to play this game. That backfired in the teachers face

I'll bet they wised up the next year, but that is hilarious thanks for sharing!

Our elementry school won a Gateway Computers Grant, so, we upgraded from old computers, to, Windows 95. We raced through our work to be the first to play Treasure Math Storm on the computers. There wasn't enough for the whole class to play, so, we had to team up with 4 kids on one computer, and rotate who would sit at the computer. Such a fun time being in school in the early 90s. I remember I had to help my teacher navigate Windows since these teachers couldn't figure it out, let alone, rolling in the TV and figuring out how to play a VHS tape

The 90s and early 2000s were a great time to be in school. I work in a school IT department and teachers/students rely on tech for EVERYTHING. Computer time was more fun when it wasn't required for work or in your face all the time, as it felt more like a treat or a reward. It was definitely a different world that has changed practically over night with rapid technological progress.

This sends me back into my childhood. I had the german localization of this game and it was a Windows application with better graphics (maybe a later release?).
I couldn't read at that time and brute forced all the math questions.
Also there were these two edutainment games from 7th level. Learning words and numbers with Howie the bear and the skunk sidekick.

Yeah, they re-released enhanced CD-ROM versions of most the Learning Company games around 1994 or 95. I had the Windows version of Treasure Mountain as kid but I always had the DOS version of this game. The enhanced versions are pretty much the same games with the exception of the graphics, some improved sounds, and speech. I never played the 7th level games to my knowledge. There were so many of these types of games from 1990-2003ish then they just seemed to go away once the internet became more of a thing.

I think it is for ages 5-9. If you play it enough it does start to throw in multiplication, division and I think fractions which would likely prove challenging for a 3 year old.
