Back then I would probably agree with you but getting older also means discovering and liking new artists. I'm not saying that Floyd are awful, it's just that they're nowhere near the songwriting level of LCD and Kendrick

@@GobbyMade21 DSOTM was produced 50 years ago and still holds up as one of the best produced albums of all time. TPAB is also not nearly as tight of a record.

Production wise TPAB is 10times better every musician will say that, performance wise it's also better, story wise/lyrics wise it's way way better.

Nectar works when you focus on it, it works as background music, I personally listen to it while playing video games, it's not too distracting, it's just overall a more versatile album. JID easily has better writing, sure. If you're talking about first listen alone, JID wins easy. I just think Nectar has more replayability, and can be used in more situations.
Regardless of this though, TPAB wins the whole thing for me.
