For everyone seeing this I totally wasn’t expecting a full post credit scene (umm long ass song btw 😅) but I did just watch it & it got me hyped as hell 👏🏽
@@DoubleXStudios Don't forget branding/scarification and limb loss! :) Nothing new though. I still remember Osamu Tezuka complaining about that IN HIS OWN COMIC when it came to Astro Boy. And that was in the '50's!
Brian Tyree Henry really out did himself with his incredible performance and his deep understanding of Megatron since always wanted to play the villains. Every villain is a hero of his and her own Story. D-16 is not only a product of Cybertron’s corrupted system and takes on Sentinel Prime’s oppression though violent means all the social injustices he had experiences forged his transcendence into Megatron and building up to a rivalry with Orion turned Optimus Prime (due to wanting the same goal of a unified Cybertron but have different viewpoints). But their friendship is doomed since they discovered that shocking realization their leader Sentinel Prime had sold out Cybertron to the Quintessons after betraying his fellow Prime brothers and sisters, and ruled his planet through oppression. D-16 has put too much faith in the system he has held on to until his worldview was shattered that boils up to anger and a personal vengeance after being suffered of the social injustices while Orion still kept his optimism by exposing the truth of Sentinel's corruption. This what makes D-16 a much more of a compelling hero-turned-villain and tragic character in Transformers history. And the rift between two brothers. Both D-16 and Orion really wanted a unified Cybertron but each have different ways to bringing it into fruition.
There is a connection to Transformers Prime, though. Brian Tyler composed the music for the show and this movie. He did a great job incorporating themes used throughout Prime and the previous movies.
Least this wasn't earthspark. Also, ironic that arachnid was sentinel's eyes and ears, given his animated self loathing everything organic and passing!
6:23 Yeah, everyone is meme-ing on that one. XD I love how respectful the writers were towards the already existing lore. TF One is just an amalgamation of several different lore pieces, story arcs form a ton of different TF comtinuities. (like Megatron's low class, D-16 miner bot origin is from the IDW seres just like the Cybetronian class system. Orion's Megatron's friendship was introduced in the Aligned continuity, where these two fought against Sentinel and hiscorrupt government. Where Sentinel was also a puppet ruler, and was a Prime witout having the MAtrix in his posession. Starscream's backstory was also inspired form his Aligned continuity counterpart. Cogless worker slave transformers who could not transform during the Quintessons rule is a lore elemnt form G1,just like Orion being a low classm manual labourer, he was adock worker in the 80's series. These are just a few, but TF One is full of ideas taken from several TF tv series, comics, and films)
The Transformers Prime series and the Transformers One movie are different Universes, since Transformers has Multiverses, the music is because they hired the composer who made the TFP soundtracks and put them in this movie as a kind of reference, in fact the Movie is full of references from Series and movies that have been taken from the entire franchise for the 40th anniversary of Transformers.
But at the same time TF One tooka ton of lore elements from the continuity TFP takes place in (Aligned continuity) LIke Sentinel being a puppet ruler, and being Prime wothout having the Matrix, the Cybetronian caste/class system, Starscream's backstory (both from the Aligned continuity novels, and the WFC games). Aligned continuity was the one where they firstly introduced Megatron's and Orions very close bond. Orion being a history nerd, and spending his free time in the ARchives is also a clever nod to the Aligned continuity where Orion was an archivist before he became a Prim. XD
is nice we see a another new variant transformers origin. this transformers one is easy version for any new fan and old fan to give a idea golden day of cybertron
I this in theaters and it was funny cuz there was a group of kids who wouldn’t stop talking intell D-16 said no I want to kill him line. They went silent 😮 all I heard was gasp , no way , yo you heard that? 😂
As a Transformers fan since G1 and the 90’s era, this movie makes me really happy to see Elita One get more focused and action. Scarlet Johansson fits perfectly for the character like she did with Black widow. I hope our favorite female Autobot lives longer in surviving the upcoming Autobot-Decepticon Civil War in future sequels. The only animated show where Elita one I know alive with Optimus Prime is in Earthspark. None of us want Orion/Optimus to suffered like he is in Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy Netflix series
@@kbef2438 yes sorry about that I appreciate you guys telling me that. Literally they should have put it sooner but I wasn’t expecting it. I’m only used to Marvel movies doing it. I did just have a look and it’s definitely hype! I’m down if they do sequel.

3 times in theaters. 2 in my native spanish, one in english. Going to buy the DvD when it´s out. Perfection.
One lived long enough to become a villain and became Megatron.
One died a hero and became Optimus Prime.
