• Norwegian Medevac Afgh...
Norwegian two part documentary Lifesavers in Afghanistan (Livredderne i Afghanistan) about the Norwegian Aeromedical Detachment(NAD) operating in Faryab Province. Produced by Bitmill for Viasat 4, aired on TV autumn 2010.
Norwegians are cool as fuck. The best time I had in the Marine Corps was when we were training in Norway.
Afghan soldier, treated by american medic, taken care of by Norwegian medevac, carried away in a swedisch plane to go to a german hospital.
Now that's what I'm talking about!
Divided there is little we can do. United, there is little we can not do
Fabzil called globalization haha
Norwegian medic and Norwegian, medevac
a few American medics ;) the rest of it is from rikshospitalet, ullevaal hospital in norway
Thank you Norway! Your help will always be appreciated.
Inside combat rescue, Norway edition
Thanks Norway. 👍
I just told a friend to look up Meymaneh, not watching, just listening. 4:11 in I heard the SCRAMBLE ALARM, and dropped everything!!! WOW!! From one brother to another thanks for all you do. Stay safe....(Spirit ops...Dustoff 78 signing off)
Good times with good people.
America loves to show how much they do in these wars but never emphasise or even really mention other nations that are involved
We were around Norwegians in Afghanistan. They are good to go.
god bless all army medic.
Good job boys and girls Norwegains are teh best! Vy the way i live in Norway.
I love the good old huey 3

Bell 412 er et helikopter produsert av Bell Helicopter Textron. Modellen er en videreutvikling av Bell 212, som igjen var basert på UH-1 helikopteret, også kalt Huey
True Warriors.. Like the brits
You guys do a great job.
That a boy
HEROS
motoprof1441 They say why in the video, becuse its so warm there they dont have the option to fly with full tanks since it can become too heavy for liftoff
What is Mafibran? I can't find the medication or English translation for it
I think the translations were off. Sounds like he says Afipran, which is a brand name for metoklopramid, an antiemetic :)
@Staole so Gravol 🤣
Im guessing heat and amount of equipment carried goes into the equation.
Great and important job! But no "Leeroy Jenkins" alarm?
Different cultures who have been grown up with different stuff. Leeroy jenkins is not that known for most people in Norway, most of these guys was 20+ when leeroy jenkins was something you knew about therefore not so into the MMO/gaming culture.
You need a 10 warthogs, no brainer
Why are not the helicopter fill with fuel ready to go out of the hangar.
You loose valuable time
becuse its so warm there they dont have the option to fly with full tanks since it can become too heavy for liftoff
Very warm there you know
kan noen fortelle meg hva oppgaven til en SYSOP er.
20:22
sysop står for systemoperatør. Dette er en ganske bred tittel, her tenker jeg fredrik har ansvar for at helikopteret fungerer som det skal, som en mekaniker.
@@howard6451 I tillegg er han navigatør.

My Norwegian neighbours, please inform me, what dialect of Norwegian does the man at 32:10 speak? Cause I am actually having trouble understanding him :P
Is this how Stockholm people feel when they listen to us Scanians? :D
+stoffni Haha I was just going to ask about his dialect as well but for a completely different reason. He sounds Danish to me. The way he said "I forbindelse med.." made him sound like he could be my neighbor here in Denmark. It sounded completely Danish to me.. :)
he is from the south kristiansand
Basically norwegian-danish
Gren_Sonny he is norwegian, not danish
He never said he was danish only that he sounds like he is speaking a mix between norwegian and danish.
Good job boys, but as a former American combat aviation soldier, why would you fuel the aircraft before going on your mission? Why not fuel it after the mission so it's ready for the next emergency? Our helicopters (UH-1H's) never sat without a full tank of fuel.
25:23
Probably to prevent explosion from sabotage or mortar
No, because of maximum take off weight.
Why did the insurgency increase?
Since the locals picked sides. Americans were too set on defeating taliban. Killing 1 taliban will resolve in convincing 2 more people to become insurgents. Norway made schools to make sure for good education, made hospitals and trained ANA so they could take care of their own country without interference from ISAF.

42:01 Swedish plane?? Why??
Yeah i did some research! thx
:)
Intro musikken`?
Why is there no Red Cross on the Helicopter?
Makes them a higher and weak target. The taliban obviously don't care about rules of war
Taliban would probably not care anyways. If they have it it also means that they can’t be armed.
I was on the British MERT in Afghanistan. We would draw up one set of anaesthetic drugs (check them) and keep them refrigerated in a sealed box. One less thing to do in the air.... 😉
Going to us know
You can hear hueys, for miles. No sneaking up
