- The Game i'd been saying for ages I don't think many of you have heard of is finally here!!!! Its for the best console DVD!! I only played this once and its not that its a bad game, just, I prefer playing a GAME... not a DVD. Plus they got Allosaurus confused with a T.rex for god sake.

James I've got a fact for ya .. The first dinosaur to be recorded was a iguanodon or megalosaurus and they both lived in England and was descovered in 1677.

It's totally an allosaurus, as you can see by it's head crests, it's 3 fingers, it's trex head, it's trex size..wait it actually has two fingers and it doesn't have crests..yea it's a trex and not a allosaurus I was like "YAY beaver got a trex" and then when it said allosaurus I was like "WTF?!?!"

Archaeopteryx was from the Jurassic. That was VERY feathery. You know, being a bird and all.
As for the frills, no, Dilophposaurus had no frills. The frill thing only came to be via Spielberg. I don't think the frill was even mentioned in Crichton's book. Much less the movie-sized Dilopho. Instead they were proper sized and not disproportionate.

No, That's an obvious via fossil evidence. I was simply stating the entirely fictional nature of those frilled lizard flaps Jurassic Park always adds to the dinosaur.
The only thing in JP outside the books that was really dilophosaurus, was the crests on the top of its snout, everything else was Spielberg's doing. It's why quite a few species didn't look like themselves, for instance the raptors that don't match any known species.
Spielberg left out crichton's explanations of why certain small things were different in the dinosaurs in his books, because they weren't really complete dinosaurs, they were just mostly dinosaur 'things' made up of 75% dinosaur, and then the rest was filled in by whatever other animals had similar sequences. Which made them range out into cobras, frogs, newts, lizards, etc. In fact, the egyptian cobra, and spitting cobra were responsible for the compies and dilophosaurus' oddities in the books. (Compies were venomous in the books, so were Dilophosaurus, but they were real size, real physiology, no frill. They just spat venom and had a venomous bite.)
The Movie franchize and the books part ways after Jurassic Park entirely. In fact, it's during that moving when the Steven-Fever or 'Spielberg-Syndrome' hit.
So, yeah, tl;dr Frills are entirely fictitious. In fact, Spielberg's reason behind the frill and complete change of the animal was to 'avoid confusion with the velociraptors'.
the dilophosaurus mind my spelling was believed to have a crest on its head but with the allosaurus is really bad in detail 2 fingers instead of 3 no crest above its eyes and they really just took a T Rex and made the thing smaller
Ok, I'm pretty sure this game is bullshit. First of all, they don't know the difference between an Allosaurus and a T.rex. Second of all, Ankylosaurus has been found in western North America and not Antarctica. Antarctica was connected to South America and Australia at the time. Plus, N. America and S. America weren't even connected during the Cretaceous so... What? They might be talking about Antarctopelta. which was a relative of Ankylosaurus that lived down there but that was a nodosaur and not a true ankylosaur.
Nodosaurs are like the ugly siblings of Ankylosaurs.
Tyrannosaurus Rex Yeah, they're what Abelisaurids are to Ceratosaurs or what hyenas are to meerkats.
Well, I'd actually call Ceratosaurs the ugly siblings of the Abelisaurids, but I guess that would just be personal preference.

The first Dinosaur ever found in Antarctica was Cryolophosaurus, and it was discovered before this game came out, which is very interesting. First the Allosaurus\T.rex and now an arctic Ankylosaurus. I,m writing this half way through the video so there's probably going to be more incorrect things. But there is still no evidence of a arctic Ankylosaurus.

Minmi is not an ankylosaur. It had no tail. It was a Nodosaur, Dinosaurs that are very similar to Ankylosaurs, but don't have a club tail. Gastonia and Edmontonia are also Nodosaurd

They re-used the T.rex model for Allosaurus due to budgetary reasons, I think. Might have been lazyness too.
Dinoslay Actually they didn’t have time to make a Allosaurus model, so they just used a Tyrannosaurus model, like they did with the Albertosaurus.
