Okay, a few tips: find the hidding spots when you enter the house (usually closets, lockers, behind boxes) Second: turn the light in the main rooms (hallway, living Room, kitchen) and in the place where your hidding spot is. And since you don't have sanity medication yet, stay in a room with lights on, because your sanity will drain in the dark (and during ghost events). The demon has a special ability that is ignorinng your sanity, so even if you're at 90% sanity, if it decides to hunt, it can hunt, so I suggest you put a crucifix in the ghost room as soon as possible. The spirit box has a set of questions like "where are you" "what do you want" "are you here" and others, so if the ghost responds, you'll hear the voice and see a white light on the bottom. Also, there's a brunch of things that the ghosts can do but are not listed in the journal, (like, when you see a ghost turn a light on, you can cross "mare" off, because they can't do that. Or when a ghost turns the breaker off, you can cross off "jinn"). So watching people play is a great source of information. The coursed possessions are the summoning circle that you saw on the floor of one house, tarot cards, music box, cursed mirror, vodoo doll, the Ouija board and a monkey paw. But I would recomend to not mess with it for now! And yes, the challengers are great because even if you die, if you select the ghost right, you still win, and also you lose nothing, no money, no equipament. And it's a good way to get less scared of the game as well Anyway, you're doing good, keep going!

I haven’t played since they reworked the game again and I enjoyed it but all my friends quit playing before I got to so I got only a few play sessions with friends and the rest solo 😢 when they reworked the ghost behaviors I just started to die immediately

When using the Spirit box teir 1 if it shows as red it means ghost herd u and wont reply butr when its white it will respond and talk.
