I was not expecting such fantastic compliments, especially not after my first upload. I appreciate you so much, thank you! Starting out has been a little stressful, so it means a lot to me that you're impressed with the quality. Thank you for the warm welcome! 😀
Love the video and the calm commentary! When I was a kid, I was only able to get the Cairo ambush set that came with Indie, Marian, and one of the sword-wielding bad guys. Even though I only seriously collected Lego Batman sets, seeing this video gave me so much nostalgia. Can't wait to see this channel grow!
Thank you so much! I'm a little self conscious about my voice, so I really appreciate you saying that! I love the Cairo Ambush set, and I'll for sure be featuring it in a later video. I do wish I collected more Batman sets from around that time period, I had too many sets to prioritize lol. Batman sets will be hard for me to review, but I'll do my best if I can get my hands on some of them. I'm glad that I was able to bring back some nostalgia for you, that's my goal here on my channel! Thank you as well for your compliments!
@@TheBrickPerfectionist98 Nah man, your voice is perfect. I know that self-consciousness doesn't go away no matter what others say but just trust yourself to keep going :). At the end of the day, it's the effort you put that ultimately matters. On a side note: Your drawing was jaw dropping. I appreciated you showing the drawing process too; it showed me that great art doesn't magically come out of nowhere. I started drawing for about a year now, but I don't practice as much as I should because I get discouraged by all the advanced artist and how "effortless" it appears to be. You should definitely keep the drawings as part of your channel, it makes your channel more unique than other Lego channels :D
Hopefully in time I'll be more used to speaking in my videos lol. But I will keep that in mind, I appreciate it! Thank you for your compliments on my artwork! I think you should continue with your drawing as well, you never know how quickly you could pick up on new techniques! I've been doing it for so long, which is why it comes easy to me. I am for sure going to keep that as a staple of my channel, and I was aiming to be a little more unique with doing so. I'm glad to hear you confirm that for me as well!
Thank you so much! I feel like I have an advantage ofmixing two of my passions together into one piece of content. I hope I can inspire people from that!
This is really well done. The concept as a whole is not shocking, but all the little details within, ESPECIALLY the backdrop creation and announcement of focusing on remaking old sets is spectacular.
Thank you very much, I appreciate you for saying that! I'm a highly detail oriented person, and I wanted to pack as much content as I could into the video. I'm still playing with the flow of that, since both of my videos are a little long. Either way, I'm really happy to hear and see that people are enjoying the backdrops a lot! I want to get to a point where my viewers can guess which sets I am comparing just by looking at my artwork in the thumbnail. Anyway, thank you again, your compliments mean a lot to me! 😀
Loved the video, looking forward for future Lego Indiana Jones videos. I hope Lego makes more sets soon because I'm obsessed with some poeples mocs of locations lego never covered.
Thank you very much! Tonight I'll be positing my second Indiana Jones video, so I will have that very soon for you! I am still keeping my fingers crossed for more sets to be released, and I hope we get some new locations for the Indiana Jones movies. I would love to see Lego make Marian's Bar, that way we could get a Major Toht (Black Suit Guy) and possibly a medallion tile piece. I'm not sure if they would be up for something alcohol related though.
I appreciate you, thank you! I've been torn between creating a YT channel for my Legos, and for my artwork. So I decided this was my way to do both. I'm glad you enjoyed that!
Thank you so much! That means a lot, especially since that's my first video! I really do wish Lego would re-implement backdrops for sets, and even the Studios theme itself from the early 2000's. Only 3 of the Harry Potter sets had them, and we did get the banners last year, which had the holographic cards. I did enjoy those, I just hope I can inspire Lego to remake the backdrops, just like the originals inspired my channel! I'm glad you enjoyed the video, and I appreciate your support!
I was upset because for a set this expesive i would have liked printed pieces. ESPECIALLY for the raiders of the lost ark and quotes plates on the front. I have nerve damage in my hands so stickers are a huge struggle for me. I miss the old days of printed pieces.
I unfortunately lost all my old lego indiana jones sets because in late November someone set my storage shed on fire and we where going to be moving wo all my stuff was stored in there. So all of them are dust.
I agree, I wish they would remove any stickers from all 18+ sets, let alone expensive ones. I'm sorry to hear about your difficulties with nerve damage. As someone who constantly uses my hands for artwork and hobbies, I would have a hard time dealing with that. If you don't already, try using a brick separator for placing them down. That helps me keep my fingers out of the way from what I'm seeing.
Thank you so much for the compliment on my channel, I really appreciate you! YT is a lot of hard work, but it's also about the learning curve, so I'm here for the ride lol. On the other hand, I'm so sorry to hear that your shed was burned down... that's terrible. Its a bummer how quickly retired sets go up in price, and I know those sets will be harder to come by. Not sure if you have a Bricks and Minifigures store around you, but I have seen 3 or 4 Indiana Jones sets, sealed in their box at my local store. I wish you luck in replacing those someday.
A very calm and soothing voice, actually a good way to enjoy lego related videos. Keep up the good work :)
I appreciate you saying that! Thank you! 😊 I've been a little self-conscious about my voice, but sho isn't lol? So hearing that really means a lot!
Welcome to TH-cam. This is a really well done video. I’m always happy to see new people pop up in my feed. I wish you good luck on your channel 👍

Keep it up man. Great work! I love watching people talk about things they are passionate about.

@@TheBrickPerfectionist98 I just hope they finally make the Temple of Sun and more physical locations rather than vehicles
Awesome, I loved the background idea!!!

Great review, thank you! The artwork looks amazing, I wish Lego was including something like that with those sets!

Also I'm new to your channel but genuinely think you deserve more subs

Beautiful little art piece! What a terrific way to enhance this wonderful LEGO set.
Thank you so much, I appreciate you!
Wow! This is awesome!
I'm glad you liked my content! Thank you so much!
Love this video 👏👏👏
Thank you so much! I'm definitely really proud of my first video doing well!
