Best way to bleed the fish is to cut their gills out completely mate, followed by knife or spike to the brain, on some big blood filled fish cutting their tails helps a lot too😊

Great video. As others have said, that was a paddletail, not a red emperor. However, the reason they are no take is because they have a high risk of giving you ciguatera poisoning if you eat them. There are other fish that pose the same risk, so make sure you get a positive ID before eating if you’re not sure. Take care mate

When I cook my fish all I use to coat the fillet is whole meal plain flour with lemon pepper mixed in, it may work for you. Thanks for your effort mate.
