So many great riders, Emil is definitely my favorite of them all, hope this virus situation improves at least for 2021 so I can get myself a graduation present - set of tickets for my family to Red Bull Rampage so we can see the incredible things they come up with.

Honestly mountain biking has the best community, and competitive nature. Look at racing, riders will walk the course together and share lines, knowing that them sharing that line might give away their win, but they share it anyway. Honestly I love it.
Congrats to Emil Johansson, on a fantastic run!! Also Brett Rheeder did awesome i really thought you had it and it was nice to see Dawid Godziek make it in 3rd place. Please pay these guys more at least double!! $25000 for a run like that is a joke and you should be embarrassed to pay these guys so little for what they do!
Musicsson exactly, but slopestyle is probably not so profitable for sponsors, if that was some kind of Fortnite championship with lil kids as target, we would talk about hundreds of thousands and that’s fking sad man.
While I love Matt riding in his vids and comps, this commentary thing is great! The team was top notch and in a few years I'd love to see him permanently up there in the commentators box.
no disrespect to the winner it was a good run but redbull is turning this into pro wrestling a good story counts more than a good run. sucks we cant have honest competitions. but yes matt Jones thumbs up.
Last year a lot of the fans were saying that the judges favored nicholi, in insbruck this year they said that the judges favored brett and now people are saying that they're favoring emil. Yet we've had the same judges for years! I think that everyone is blaming the judges as soon as their favourite rider doesn't win and that the fans are the actual biased ones
Subjective judging is a loose-loose situation in my opinion. I hate the judging, but it's gotta be judged somehow! I just wish they didn't do "slotting" and would just judge each run independently and let the scores fall where they fall. This business of slotting a run higher or lower based on "where it belongs" leaves a lot of room for shenanigans by the judges.
@@callumyoung7785 no, go and watch again, not one trick smoothly landed, it was the most entertaining run of the comp and definetly if it would have been cleanly executed, been the winning run for sure, but this year Johansson has been doing similar tier tricks landing perfectly straight every single time and thats what has won him the comp. It is as someone said before kind of a Semenuk vibe in the guy since that is what has made Semenuk the GOAT. But dont hate, opinions are different and judging is the weak point of the sport at the moment
Wow the sports looking good man emil godziak rheeder and if rogatkin gets bk in a groove would make a legit 4 man top tier should make for good future comps....then if semenuk decides to jump in the foam pit for a few days and take another shot at it, the style cats lemoine and fedko, huge jumps scenery and the announcing good f in show
i think its so bad, that Brandon Semenuk doesn't ride any Contest. He where aresome! His great 180° for a big drop and the nice combos. I've been waiting so long for a new Bike Movie of Brandon Semenuk but no one is coming out. What is he doing?^^
I think he might've broken the valve stem. if u look at it frame by frame he actually steps just inside of his wheel, not on it. I heard the noise too lol
Congrats to Emil Johansson on the win and nice to see David Godziek in the mix again as well. Overall it just seemed this course was a little too much for the riders. A lot of crashes and riders coming up short. Seemed like everyone was barely hanging on. I would love to see the course being toned down a little, so more riders can stick the runs they dream of all year. Yes this has more drama, but it's not that rider friendly.
Sorry but even as a non-connaisseur it is obvious that what Brett was doing was simply extraterrestrial... with all respect to Emil‘s run. Counting Emil‘s smoothness higher than Brett‘s insanely high performance and maximum risk - which in my opinion - is simply on another level... seems a bit strange. Maybe some judges were pissed by SO much skills... :)
