Dang!!! Talk about a perfect race. Always close to the front but rarely on the front. Let the other folks work, then there is the perfectly executed sprint. My now old self is in admiration. Made me think of racing back in the 80's when I was young and a whole lot faster. I sure do enjoy your channel Cory, please keep the videos coming!
Hey these videos are the secret sauce for getting through your last interval on the trainer or the last 5 minutes of a ramp test. Thanks for putting out content like this, Cory!
Very Beastly indeed, but I'm often more impressed, Cory, by your skills as a tactician at the front end of the race. Amazing covering moves and energy-saving where it counted. Strong AND Savvy.
I have never been happier with the level of participation and diversity in this sport, at least on a national level. I will keep supporting you in the hopes cycling opens up to all sorts of communities. Mrs. Schlug gave me a nice Le9ion shirt for my birthday. She knows what's up. I am always impressed by you guys rolling through at 32 mph like it's easy and railing corners at 29 mph. Well done.
I JUST discovered Crit racing in the past 6 months and I'm F"ing addicted!! LOL Wish I were 35 years younger! Did it even exist in the '80s?? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The only time in my life I've watched bicycle racing and thought.. "Man! That looks like fun! I'd like to do that!!" PUT OUT MORE VIDEOS!! Especially with commentary... Love hearing the thought process/strategies! Hope LEGION makes it to Chicago this year... I'll def come out to watch!
Is the field that thin? I mean, it looked like you just motor paced behind that huge engine for the whole time and then sprinted. Just one guy taking a flyer with a half lap to go. Where is everyone else? Groveling on the wheels?? So dominant.
TDF, is the major leagues, this is triple a ball. These guys crush here and they have a stacked team, overseas would be a real challenge for this group. Too much money involved in the euro teams to compete against.
Why not trying to compete in european tour where the UCI world team and proteam both compete each other? Dont stay in America challenges those in european players.
This is you’re pro level? Sprint at 38 miles World Tour Level the lead outs are 40 to 45 miles sprint can get up 50 to 55. Your not bad for amateur category levels all categories 1 to 5 all are amateur levels.
Most world tour races finish on down hill roads. The guy on rally ty has won stages of tour of Utah and Colorado so you can keep your smart comments to yourself cause I don’t see you out here. Talking about how good other people are smh that’s a joke.
@nordic Your country’s best athletes choose soccer or cycling Justin is a top tier athlete, make no mistake But ask yourself, what if America’s other top tier athletes chose cycling instead of basketball baseball football or hockey? These gentlemen would demolish your sissy countrymen
American crit on sunset, the crowd cheering, we miss that, f*ck covid 😔
I am surprized the ignorant Utahns tolerate that the roads are closed for bike riders. I can not believe what I am seeing.
@@paulantoinep Great equation but let me fix this for you really quick. Covid+(No Plan*No Leadership)=Recession-(x*Tin Foil Hats)
Not a crit rider, I'm too skinny so therefore I climb, but you are right! Crits at twilight, crowd cheering and downing a beer. Nothing like it.

Lockwood with an amazing pull.
Always he’s crazy strong
@@nationsnumber1beast Is the speed correct? He was holding 31mph average for 5 minutes. That seems a bit much.
@@MrBusunglueck he is the National TT champion
@@cooperk4 Yea but still. Seems kinda impossible.

Two words: Cory. Lockwood. Holy moly that guy can pull
Great job, I like the “Oww!” at the end 😆
Makes me want to come out of retirement! Did JW even break a sweat? Crit racing is the baddest sport in America!
Nope all Diego LOL

What a dope racecourse
Wow full blast 😯!
Great vid but I think I prefer the chest cam over the helmet cam
Hey bro its time you record in 4K 60FPS these cycling races on TH-cam
Is Jeremy Deweitte somewhere around the corner for traffic marshaling?
how did no one like this comment yet?

Number 7 did a dirty move on that 3rd last lap
Yeah man long time 👍👍💯
April hopefully
Ok bor
Just started my TH-cam channel 4 months ago it's going good so far cycling with Alex is the name
Amazing so where would one start if he wanted to get into pro racing
You would either find a bike shop team or club and then get into some local racing and then move up in ranks
Nice
Still seems easier than a Zwift race.
os cara são brabo d+++
Justin for the win, but let's talk about the absolute UNIT #6. WTF?!
Looking forward to Boise this year.
Our world is back but better
Teamworks 👍💪
Dope!!
😨 39MPH 🚲💨💨
Brah, you need a coal miners light on that helmut!
doing 1200W in the draft and then watching Jason Derulo launch was incredible
Yooo, he does look dead on Jason Derulo haha
AYEEEE
Yo the watts at 13:05 💀
intense. I need a shower to wash the sweat off.
eyy
The guy who leads the last 2 pr 3 laps is a fucking train.

No covid restrictions. Nice
Reupload?
Uncut
The zwift race is boring for me to watch bro
Shows the power of their team, since they did 0 turns at the front.
Strategy over power any day in a crit
Lol
