BTW I noticed something I have 2 accounts, one is new and one is old basically my old account quality is always bad no matter what but my new account quality is good and I made that account since reels came out
You fool, Instagram compresses photos to balance quality with technical limitations, such as storage space and internet bandwidth. Smaller image sizes require less storage, which helps Instagram function smoothly for all its users. Compression also ensures faster loading times, which is important for mobile users who may be accessing Instagram on cellular data. However, compression can result in reduced photo quality.
4k still looks better when comparing with HD in the end. It's more about HDR uploads when Instagram converts them back to SDR after uploading. So annoying
Instagram has a setting you need to change in the App which saves data but the quality suffers. So turn that off and it uses more data but the video quality isn't lost.
I film with my samsung s22 love the camera I upload in de right settings even on insta also good settings, but I get so many frame drops when I watch it on other phone my video....on iPhone no problem ):
Mine don’t lose quality they just drop in frame rate when I post. Even when I have the upload at highest quality toggled on. It doesn’t happen with TH-cam or TikTok either.
I didn't know that Instagram could change the quality of the reel since it never happened before to me; now that I already uploaded the video and everything, is there a way where I could fix the quality without reposting it? I already pressed the high quality button, but it was only after I saw that it changed the quality/color :(
I’ve a doubt, I uploaded some pictures regarding some detailed plans, and they were saved in maximum quality, but when I uploaded them on Instagram the quality was amazing when I zoomed in, but after 2 days the quality went off, when I zoom in now it seems blurry. *please help me out on this*
@@smartphonefilmmakingpro you're right but is there a way to not decrease quality at all? I see iphone users have an advantage when posting on ig. They don't suffer from quality decrease
Idk what to do still quality is blur plz tell me some solution I've been editing vdo in capcut& converting it into HD in wink app when I post it quality is very bad text And everything got blured
It’s 2023 and instagram company doesn’t know how to manage their app ppl still suffering with the quality what the heck are they working for ?!! 😂

Even 1080p looks 480p when you oploud it, this instagram quality only for certain account not for everyone.
Same same😢
@@kd-eg5msi can fix that issue
@kd-eg5ms I have tried all solutions, none of them worked. But I still see lots of reels with actual 4K quality on Instagram.
It loose quality after adding a sticker 😢 or sometimes even after adding a song . 🤦🏻♂️
What about fps and bitrate settings??
does file size matter? i keep uploading files like 80 to 100 mb and they kinda look bad

Already off but no results
Your video quality in shorts is awesome 😍
Thank you so much 😄
What phone app do you recommend using for editing reels and tiktoks?
Capcut
@@smartphonefilmmakingproYouCut is even better
This is exactly what I do and it works very well
perfect! as it should be
This did not work. I created in Final Cut, then exported and it looks crappy as an IG reel.
then there has to be something else that is causing the problem
Thank u bro ❤

select 30fps instead of 24 or 25
What about HDR? Should we record or export the video with that on or off?
Both off
@@smartphonefilmmakingpro thank you sir!🤙🏽

I also have the same problem, did you know the solution?
the solution is in the video ;)
@@smartphonefilmmakingpro but your solution doesn’t work
Can you help me I took the video in 4k 60fps so should i upload in 1080p 30fps = question is 30fps or 60fps please help ‘?
depends on if you slow down the clip or not?
ok, but can you explain why? ...
you gotta ask instagram for that ;)
what a clickbait man... if it's true at least explain why @@smartphonefilmmakingpro

Not working 😭
Thats what did but it slightly decreases quality
But still way better compared to editing in 4k

@@ogsal7549Instagram algorithm decreases the video quality in all the conditions.
We can only reduce this effect.
just but an iphone..
still doesn't work.
Then there‘s some other mistake
can i send you what im working with and some screenshots?@@smartphonefilmmakingpro
Nah, the truth is most people actually use me as a PC, and Markiplier and Pewdiepie used to use Toaster as their webcams.
such a bullsh*t... 4k is obviously better
Yeah, why?
Angle frame
horseshit. there are proper ways people do it - saving 4k in 1080p somehow but not like this
Thanks for the valuable insights
1080p and what of fps?
25 is what I use

1080 ,30 fps

have you watched the video? The solution is in there
