After hearing the guitar track I bought your Morpheus album on Bandcamp - happy to support a youtuber who gives enjoyment to myself and others. If anybody else likes the track it's called Moonlight you can hear it here : kryfoldsky.bandcamp.com/album/morpheus
What a beautiful cruise! The guitar solo perfect...This section of the llangoflon is lovely!. I do love the bridges...Thank you again!😊 Sorry you got wet..😊
Thanks Phil, hope you are ok. That was a brilliant video, what fantastic scenery. Looking at some of those lift bridges I'm sure I would be able to thread the ropes through and pull my little boat through and tie up at the other side . Looking forward to some dry sunny weather. Alan.
That was another great blog Phil we went down 2years ago and loved it we definitely want to here about your UFO stories looking forward to the next one keep safe and happy boating.👽👍
You may have edited them out, but it seems like the was very little boat traffic for the end of July. Looked like nice cruising; thanks for sharing this!
I wonder why the hydraulic bridges don't have a valve to turn which by-passes the pump and lets the bridge lower by it's own weight. Letting gravity do the work would save a lot of cranking.
Hi Phil Is that you playing the guitar at the 10 min mark? It was really nice. How did yo cope with the bad winds we just had? We didn’t get any damage here apart from the dustbins moving about over night, but that could have been aliens lol
You are really good on the guitar, I don’t think you know how good you are. You should do more of you playing the guitar on your video then maybe people might start buying some of your music
Thank you Lewis. I might try just playing along to the video and see what happens? Like the piano player in the old silent movie theatres. Got too much on my mind right now though.

Many thanks.
I love the peaceful “in between bits,” don’t ever leave them out.
Thank you for showing the peaceful bits.
LOVE the rubber ducky transition!
I need to record a quacking sound for him!
That's why I watch your channel because you show all the beautiful scenery.
Cloudy skies seemed to keep the Murgons away...but not the ducks! :) Keep on cruising Phil :)
I love your style of vlog, keep up the good work 👍😊

That was absolutely lovely. The scenery is beautiful. I loved the music. It was all so relaxing. Thank you
Excellent Phil. You made a very busy canal look very tranquil :)
Thank you. It was pretty quiet. I don't think the summer rush had kicked off yet. Also, early morning is my preferred time for moving.
Thanks Phil, lovely stretch of canal, take care.
Glorious scenery. You got quite the workout! Hopefully you started your day with a bowl of piping hot porridge. Beautiful guitar...🕊
Very peaceful and relaxing. Thank you
You make solo operation of a lift bridge look easy :)
Thank you. It can get tricky if other boats turn up whilst you are part way through.
Hi Phil

Another superb video, keep them coming. :-)

Bridge 28 looks like it carried the Whitchurch-Ellesmere line
Calming to watch thx greatings 🇳🇱
Another great little cruise and thanks for such an interesting commentary, as always.
Great spot where the cows came down into the water for a drink, what did your cats make of them.
The cats are a bit scared of cows, but not so much if they are on the other side of the canal.
Your Vid's always give me a Smile, thank you from the States!!!
Nice to hear just the engine
Have you seen my slow TV channel?
Makes me wanna go back up there great video on the river wissey at mo

I usually move very early in the morning so it's quieter then.
Yes I was surprised to see Midge come out first 😊. I wonder if anyone ever forgets or doesn't bother to put the bridges back down?
I wonder why the hydraulic bridges don't have a valve to turn which by-passes the pump and lets the bridge lower by it's own weight. Letting gravity do the work would save a lot of cranking.
I expect someone would let it down onto a boat by accident.
True, that. **ponders** You could use the anti-vandal key to turn the valve.

Yes that was me playing guitar. I wasn't actually in a sheltered spot during the storms but it wasn't too bad.

Way to go Midge
If you wanted to operate a narrowboat powered by a horse or mule today, would you be able to do it?
No, there are a few exceptions but generally horses are not allowed on the towpath any more.
@@NarrowboatJourneys Thanks. Love your videos.
Ref Astronomy! Have you had any close encounters with UFO,s Phil ?!?
I saw some UFOs once. I was thinking of making a video describing it...
Would be really interesting hearing about that 👍
It’s a shame the canals don’t go to Cornwall
Yes it is, I'd be there now if they did.
