Perhaps you could find a way to set up an exchange program where she, her staff, andsudents could periodically share cultural practices or perhaps teach basic Swahili and English sentences to each other as well as do teacher exchanges to promote ties between both countries.
It’s a nice place but can turn deadly because the police will sit back and let things happen . My friend older brother had a problem with some guys and they shot up his house , he k*lled one of them and left town . They shot my friend and k*lled his mom the police don’t care , I went to visit Jamaica on summer vacation. I wanted to go to a party with a group I was with but I was told I couldn’t go because in that part of town the police don’t come and dudes will kill me because they will see me as a pretty American boy with light skin . 😢😢 people will kill you if they think you will attract women they like 😢😢😢

That is the frustrating thing about going to Jamaica for us here in the states, when prices change depending on where they assume you come from. Why not one price regardless of who or where you’re from? Most of the time, I will just walk away. You can’t negotiate with me when there are 100 vendors on the same street selling the same thing.

I know of no one working at those markets who are living lavishly. Most buy what they sell, pay a lot to get stuff to and from the markets each day just like in Africa. My advise is to use supermarkets like Champion or Progressive and get a loyalty card if you can. You’ll get points to use later. I feel your frustration in this vlog but hang in there. Empress Dee Jamaica is expensive but Fontana is REALLY expensive. I avoid buying there as much as I can. My advise is to use supermarkets like Champion or Progressive and get a loyalty card if you can. You’ll get points to use later. I feel your frustration in this vlog but hang in there.
