Now thats a pack trip. These are the kinds of videos on backpacking I love to watch. The how-to's, not so much. I've been backpacking for so many years now I just love to see the new areas others have visited. Thanks for the views.
Thanks for sharing I really enjoyed this. I moved out of state a couple years ago and I just Delights my soul remember how beautiful the mountains in Oregon or supposed to be around Mount Jefferson I used to go to boy scout camp up there and it is just so glorious and beautiful
Packed into Square lake last year. Hunted deer just over the ridge on the west side by Lower Berley Lake. I really love that area. In fact my profile picture I am standing in front Three Fingered Jack.
Big packs are great! And its nice to have refreshments after a long hike,Plus it was HOT that day! And the beer was ice cold! And the snow worked great to keep them that way!... :)
Hey it was nice to get up to the snow! But man o man it was hot getting to it! I have never hiked before in that hot of weather! And the dog did have lots of fun!.. :)

Looks nice out there. Is that the Floyd? Or just Gilmour? hehe, I've been waiting for your vid of the trip. Shame about the fire but it looks like it's coming back, little by little. Take care, bud.
Awesome vid. Maybe a stupid question, but could you elaborate on the mosquitos? Are they terrible 24/7 or just at night etc. do they bite or just annoy? I have picked a few places to BP this summer, but skeeters have me second guessing. Also, any suggestions for easy 2 day backpacking with elderly and kids? Couldn’t find anything on the coast which is fine, we’ll go anywhere Oregon to Northern California. Thanks.
MrBackpacker48, I'm planning a trip to Martin Lake in the near future and I'm curious about the hike from Booth up to Martin. Is there a defined trail? I've read from some folks that there is, and other say not. I've been to Booth Lake and didn't see the trail to Martin. Any advice on heading from Booth to Martin? Landmarks I should look for after Booth that will help?
