I remember being called put for being bad at the game when I was copper. The Issue is with this 2.0 ranked you don't allow new ranked ppl to fit in and learn ranked gameplay. You just die and get shit on by some plat. It ruins your KD so ppl shit on you more until you eventually improve on bad experiences.

You need to play 30-40 more matches to get plat. In old system it was 10-20, anyone who actually plays ranked has time for 60 games a season. If not, the rank would not be accurate anyway. I really don't understand the grind argument. You'll still play against people with similar skill level, and point gains are based on that skill level as well. Ranked still has a meaning, and matchmaking has been way better this season

Siege is a fragmented remnant to what used to be a glorified game that people used to enjoy, and now it has become a low standard comp. game that reflects other once great games. 😔
I know this is an old video and idk if you'll see this but I've worked it out. After every loss on a lose streak your RP per game won will go down and per game lost will go up (so for example before a loss you gained 30 rp and was losing 20. The next loss will be losing 21 and the next win would be 29). Vice versa for winning a game, the next win will give you 31 rp and the loss would be 19. So if you can win nearly all of your ranked games (obviously there is a cap to it) you will only lose 8rp (example number) each loss
I returned to this game and i really hate this new ranked system, I’m still in copper and have to fight against the sweatiest guys, even in unranked or quick match i can’t escape these sweat lords, i don’t understand why they did this

This new ranked system is terribly flawed. Me and my friends who are peak high Plat 2 players have played against teams with 1-2 champs and another 2 diamonds when we have never reached diamond. And our randoms were gold who never reached platinum. This system is BS and is terribly implemented

i think it’s fair for those who actively plays the game, cuz ubi’s idea is basically distributing player to their rightful rank (which is more accurate for players of such cuz they play more and has less uncertainty of their mmr) and after that only hard grinds brings ur rank up. But for most of us who can’t possibly even have two hours of gaming guaranteed everyday it’s a bad taste. Cuz the mmr (ur skill level essentially) only sees substantial changes if ur ranked against players with significantly higher mmr than you, which u could be also playing against with a bunch of trash either. And that means a few unfortunate losses might just bring ur mmr and rp down, let u fall into a vicious circle and pin you in that rank. what they can do also it quite obvious, reconsider the amount of rp lost after being put in the “rightful” rank, and redo the many ratios of the algorithm of mmr, cuz as of now, it definitely doesn’t seem too ideal at all😂

My issue is that I’m way better now then when I last played ranked over a year ago, and I’m having to win 5 matches I’m a row to go up a rank now that I’m at my highest rank I’ve achieved and people I’m playing with go up a rank every win, it don’t make no sense
I love ranked 2.0 as a copper 1 I love being placed against diamonds. I love absolutely getting my shit pushed in and having my team get pissed at me cause they are also diamond for some reason
I’m currently in Bronze, and I tend to win 2 games (each giving about 14-20 rp) and lose 1 (losing me 28-35 rp) a day, so even though I’m gaining a positive winrate, I’m still going down in rank in COPPER because this system, and I’m not a bad player
So here’s where I get confused. This most recent season Commanding Force, had brought some questions. I’m currently Plat 3 and my rank last season was peaked at Emerald 4. My friend that I play with most of the time and my other friends are ranked around gold 5-3 right now. Whenever I play with them, and we win. I will collect around 55+ RP when we win, placing middle on the leaderboard. When we win, my friend that’s in Gold 5 gains 10-13rp per win. We’ve been losing a little bit and he’ll lose 30+ RP, which makes it almost impossible for him to climb where he usually stands at plat 5-3.
Awesome. I have been ranked the same the past 4 seasons and I have gotten into diamond 4 this season. Well... all my lobbies are against 3 to 4 sweats with old season diamond charms. At the same time, 2 of my team mates are absolutely idiots. This new system seems to not be consistent.

yesterday i got like 29 ranked points per win in high plat. after 10 game loosing streak on the next day, where my team sold and matchmaking gave me the shittiest lobbies, i m down to 17 RP per win and -30 per loss. i think i am done playing ranked for the remaining season ubisoft just woke me up by this
I am a starter in siege pc ( used to be pretty good in ps4 ) now playing on pc for a month and for some reason whenever i play ranked the enemy team most of the time has 2 play players and 3 gold/silver players when i am only bronze

How do they decide what rank you "belong in"? I have almost 800 hours in siege, know all of the ops, most calls, cam spots, goofy ahh tricks, and whatever else. This is the first season I've really tried to play ranked, and i genuinely can't get out of bronze. Hit silver 5 for like 2 games and dropped again
To be honest overwatch has the best ranking system, you have 5 matches and you rank either go up or down after the other 5 matches, it's more accurate in my opinion

The old system was better ironically. The new system give you shit teammates and walls you at a certain rank by making it so you lose less than you gain on a win. You basically grind up to your rank sweating against players of “your skill level” even though they’re diamond and champions while the game won’t even let you make it further than emerald. Makes absolutely zero sense and makes ranked unplayable since you can’t really progress past a certain point all up to the algorithms will.

I used to be high diamond but never did i think i was a champ, well.. once i reached champ this season i still got 50 points per win (it did gradually start to go down pretty quickly at thay point)

I placed plat last season, pretty much top of the leaderboard every match. Now I am in bronze 1 and I gain 35 and lose 35. They need to redo rank.

you’d have to lost like 12-13 games in a row to counter a win at the beginning of the season. getting over 100 per game at the beginning is crazy
i think it’s fair for those who actively plays the game, cuz ubi’s idea is basically distributing player to their rightful rank (which is more accurate for players of such cuz they play more and has less uncertainty of their mmr) and after that only hard grinds brings ur rank up. But for most of us who can’t possibly even have two hours of gaming guaranteed everyday it’s a bad taste. Cuz the mmr (ur skill level essentially) only sees substantial changes if ur ranked against players with significantly higher mmr than you, which u could be also playing against with a bunch of trash either. And that means a few unfortunate losses might just bring ur mmr and rp down, let u fall into a vicious circle and pin you in that rank. what they can do also it quite obvious, reconsider the amount of rp lost after being put in the “rightful” rank, and redo the many ratios of the algorithm of mmr, cuz as of now, it definitely doesn’t seem too ideal at all😂

My issue is that I’m way better now then when I last played ranked over a year ago, and I’m having to win 5 matches I’m a row to go up a rank now that I’m at my highest rank I’ve achieved and people I’m playing with go up a rank every win, it don’t make no sense

I’m currently in Bronze, and I tend to win 2 games (each giving about 14-20 rp) and lose 1 (losing me 28-35 rp) a day, so even though I’m gaining a positive winrate, I’m still going down in rank in COPPER because this system, and I’m not a bad player

So here’s where I get confused. This most recent season Commanding Force, had brought some questions. I’m currently Plat 3 and my rank last season was peaked at Emerald 4. My friend that I play with most of the time and my other friends are ranked around gold 5-3 right now. Whenever I play with them, and we win. I will collect around 55+ RP when we win, placing middle on the leaderboard. When we win, my friend that’s in Gold 5 gains 10-13rp per win. We’ve been losing a little bit and he’ll lose 30+ RP, which makes it almost impossible for him to climb where he usually stands at plat 5-3.
I was a plat 2/3 throughout the past few seasons. This season I just touched champion, LFGGGG

Awesome. I have been ranked the same the past 4 seasons and I have gotten into diamond 4 this season. Well... all my lobbies are against 3 to 4 sweats with old season diamond charms. At the same time, 2 of my team mates are absolutely idiots. This new system seems to not be consistent.

yesterday i got like 29 ranked points per win in high plat. after 10 game loosing streak on the next day, where my team sold and matchmaking gave me the shittiest lobbies, i m down to 17 RP per win and -30 per loss. i think i am done playing ranked for the remaining season ubisoft just woke me up by this
I am a starter in siege pc ( used to be pretty good in ps4 ) now playing on pc for a month and for some reason whenever i play ranked the enemy team most of the time has 2 play players and 3 gold/silver players when i am only bronze

System is fucked, was a consistent gold player in old system, play last season for the first time since the rework and didn’t play ranked a whole lot and finished in copper 1 cause I just didn’t want to grind, now the game thinks I’m suppose to be copper even though I’m out performing my buddy’s in gold, and I’m getting like 23 RP a win and am fucking hard stuck in Copper cause it takes me like 5 games to move up one level

Literally the opposite. Me and my friend played the same amount of games, every game we played together. Both got basically same KD and obviously same W/L. Despite this, he can't get past gold as he is just earning less rp (for whatever reason) and i got emerald 5.

How do they decide what rank you "belong in"? I have almost 800 hours in siege, know all of the ops, most calls, cam spots, goofy ahh tricks, and whatever else. This is the first season I've really tried to play ranked, and i genuinely can't get out of bronze. Hit silver 5 for like 2 games and dropped again
If you are that good you should win those matches and 800 hours is not much on r6

To be honest overwatch has the best ranking system, you have 5 matches and you rank either go up or down after the other 5 matches, it's more accurate in my opinion

The old system was better ironically. The new system give you shit teammates and walls you at a certain rank by making it so you lose less than you gain on a win. You basically grind up to your rank sweating against players of “your skill level” even though they’re diamond and champions while the game won’t even let you make it further than emerald. Makes absolutely zero sense and makes ranked unplayable since you can’t really progress past a certain point all up to the algorithms will.

Gee, it's almost like there could maybe be a system where you'd play games at the start of the season to quickly get to your "deserved" rank - call them "placement matches" or something - and then you can skip the brainless grind of playing dozens of games that dont actually matter. I used to be high diamond but never did i think i was a champ, well.. once i reached champ this season i still got 50 points per win (it did gradually start to go down pretty quickly at thay point)

The thing is my friend is in copper and is placing top of leaderboard and still only getting 25 everygame
