Water is a great sonic aid - have heard some incredible sounds from gongs being lowered into tanks of water!
been doin that since the early seventies, also metal b flat and e flat in a bowl.
Would love to hear an ensemble of this madness. Great effect!

Lovely effect! Does it work with the Bb- and Eb-Clarinets as well lowering them in a bowl of water or is it detrimental to the material of the instruments?
