The Northwest Ohio goodwill chain raised their prices across the board anywhere from $0.50 -$1.50 depending on the item and by this I mean their “flat prices” like jeans are now $6.50 instead of $5.50. Looks like your area luckily didn’t make any changes.

The grasshoper Couroc has a few sold comps over on Terrapeak, highest was $49.95 +$13.95. Assuming it's in good condition without any real bad scratches/dents you may be able to push it a little higher than that, seeing as it has a perfect sell-through rate and rarely gets listed. Seems like a sought after design.

I went to a Thrift Store one day and I bought a bunch of Christian story books and I put them in a box it took me like 2 months to even touch them for whatever reason. And then one day I had a bottle of oil and it fell right in that box Quickly I grabbed a rag and started wiping the books up and as I was opening them up, I guess a book had a hundred-dollar bill in it because by the time I was done I found a hundred dollar bill on my floor. I guess it was meant for me.
My ideal at thrifting, is perusing the art, finding one for 2 bucks and selling it for 8.2K. Last 5 one went for 1800.00 and a 14 $ one went for 700.00. I refuse to spend more than that on a painting. If I do, it will be worth a great deal more or forget it. It is easy to get carried away finding all kinds of stuff. I hate to come out with a carload. Too much time to see to it. Though, I will pick up worthy cashmere, wool or linen blankets and duvet covers, drop off at drycleaner on way home. I do have a thing for too many of those. I find it hard to pass them by for a buck. I'm stunned people toss 900 blankets to thrift. Who does that and why? At times may have a snag or tiny hole - so, repair it. Total waste. At clearance thrift places if it doesn't get sold at end of day, clothing often goes to the large bin dumpster. Reason is they have a ton more to put out. The donations they acquire daily can be multiple household's worth. Society wastes far too much still, even with awareness. And here some people have to do without. Unreal.

Thats great let millions know of goodwill shopping. More people will seek out goodwill. Your competition will grow, maybe prices will go up with more people shopping there. Keep people informed where they can buy it before you
And this is why Goodwill charges ungodly prices for 2nd hand goods for people that can't afford brand new things. They know people like this are doing things like this so they hike the price up and get money for their organization. This is what kills the value of thrift shopping on a low or almost non existent budget.
I love your channel but I wish you would go slower as I am very interested in what you pick up and your Comps and comments afterwards. But you show things so quickly we don't get a chance to really look at them. It's as if you don't think we're interested but we really are.
I don't believe it happened either. Goodwill stores do not have wood laminate floors (and it is a corporate gig, so all stores are cookie-cutter homogenized layout) Goodwill does not leave carts full of not yet stocked/ untagged/ unpriced merchandise on the floor. We don't see another human being, employee or customer, in the store. This must be a dream. 😊
I live in an area where there is an abundance of thrift shops,antique shops,etc. Plus a Habitat for Humanity thrift store. NOW..In my opinion, it does not seem to be a fair thing to track these stores,if you are planning to sell thrift items for way much more than you buy the items for.Have you e er thought about the folks that need these items much more than you do.Especially items for children.Please examine yourself and think it over,.So many people are doing this,and making a lucrative little profit.There isn't a law forbidding this,it is a matter of self respect,and compassion.Some little child might would like some of the toys,etc,.Parents may not have the money to pay expensive prices.Single moms and dads who are out of work and need shoes,coats,and so forth.you get the point.Think twice.I understand if you purchase a cup for a few bucks,and it is really worth $2000.00.Yes i probably would buy it too.That is what the gsme is about.But please always think of the needy,first.You will surely feel better about yourself.

What's dishonest about it? They wouldn't sell a loose cd without a case, as it would just get scratched up on the floor. It was obviously donated this way. If they wanted to seperate it they would have.
@Pro Picker Agreed. I purchased a suitcase at a thrift, got it home and realized there was a watch in the little pocket inside. I took it to the thrift store and they said "Comes with the suitcase Congrats!" (It was a vintage pilot's watch)

The goodwills in south texas price their jeans anywhere from 12-15 dollars. They individually price everything.
