Here I want to share my overall experiences & honest opinions of the games I have played on the original Playstation (PSX) console over the years while also diving into & experiencing other games that were released for the system in other countries & regions that I wanted to play but never got that chance to back in the mid-90s....!
The original Playstation is such an iconic console that helped change how we play & experience games today & it is my all-time favourite console that is home to some of video gamings biggest & most well-known franchises. So I want to share my journey of reliving some of those great memories & share new experiences with you...!

me and my mate use to play split screen co op championship on this all the time doing all nighters was always team Mondeo so many memory's man i miss them days for real or playing tag in the Fiesta when we got bored of the championship game was awesome .... this channel is gold bruv
Nice 1, glad you enjoyed the video, there is a lot more on the way. TOCA 2 is an epic game, so much fun, 1 of the best racers on the console. Are there any games you would like to see videos on that i have yet to cover on the channel?

@@OnMy1s Gran Turismo, yea I agree, an epic game, i too put plenty of hours into it, its my fav game in the series. I have covered videos on both GT & rage racer on the channel if you want to check them out.

Would be a dream come true to do this, never had enough friends hah! One of only 4 PS1 games to allow split screen and link-up 🏎️
2 things i like about this other than what was mentioned... The lack of in-game music which i prefer, and the improved car sounds. I always went for either the Audi A4, Ford Mondeo, or Volvo S40 to hear the best car sounds in this iconic game

Cheers, yea this is an epic game, it doesn't get as much attention as it should but it is without a doubt 1 of the best racers on the PS1.

Good review. Love the passion. I adored the demo of this game back then. Played it dozens of times. In the beginning, I didn't believe I could get anywhere, as the game seemed so realistic and thus difficult. It felt so real (I was about 11 years old). But I did master it later on and could even win that race at Silverstone in the Honda BTCC IN THE RAIN! I was so proud of my achievement lmao. Told my pal and he simply refused to believe me. I fired up the 'Station and showed him. He was flabbergasted. :D
Definatly think it's EASILY top ten PS1 racing game. In fact, the racing games I would definatly put above it, are GT1 + 2, Colin Rally 1 + 2, NFS 3-5, and MAYBE TOCA 3, Driver 1 + 2, Rollcage 1 + 2. I still own the demo + a PS2 btw. ;)
Sweet, they are a great selection of games that are easily up there among the best racers on the PS1 & are so iconic. Playing these games on the demos was also an epic experience & we probably played them as much as the full games which was cool.
I bought this in 1999 and played it to death also i thougnt the damage physics were unreal,also i remember it had 2 secret tracks but 1 stood out to me but cant remember the name of it,i still have my copy too,do you emulate or use actual hardware 3:58
Yea this game is just epic, great visuals, handling & damage physics, one of the best racers ever made. I generally use emulation for recording gameplay & making videos etc as for me its easier to work with & i can set up various processes to get recording & making videos much quicker compared to trying to record with the original hardware as while it does work it can be quite temperamental at times to get working properly so I try to keep the processes as simple as possible as i also run a few other channels here on TH-cam so I just try to create processes to be more productive with my time.
