The way Shepard shuts down the argument between Edi and Javik. Like a boss. Javik is great because he is such a polarizer. Amazing character who is unflinching in his code of ethics, honor, and ruthlessness. I loved how his arrogance conflicted with his despair. Such strong characters are hard to accomplish and still have the viewer find something to sympathize with them. Javik's conflicts with Edi and everyone is awesome.
I would say Garrus is more like Varric. His penchant for betting and colorful word play and flirting... no wonder i have issues with never being able to romance Varric in Dragon Age...
