- i literally started mum the day before yesterday and oh my gosh all of this is too good to be true. these two are a masterpiece of slow burning and overcoming mourning.
i was very sad to find that few people watch the show and there isn't any fanvid of them. so here i am hahaha
but jokes aside, everyone should watch mum. is an incredible portrait of life in the form of comedy.

The young Lesley Manville from the Mike Leigh days has become a striking older woman.....she should be a Dame.....the casting of Mullan as romantic lead is a stroke of genius....Great tribute to them both👍👍👍👍👍

The scene at the top of the stairs, when Kathy tells Michael how she really feels about him, and he's floored, with tears in his eyes as all his dreams come true. That was, and still is, the most stirring love scene ever.

This was really well put together. I've just binge watched the 3 series of Mum and must say what a funny,beautifully tender and sensitive show it is.Lesley Manville and Peter Mullan's acting is superb in a very understated way.The supporting actors are also well cast and are the perfect foil to Cathy and Michael's tentative relationship.Stefan Golaszewski has proven himself to be a brilliant writer once again.Him And Her was also a wonderful show in my opinion.I can't wait to see what he cmes up with net.

A fabulous show and so romantic. The speech he gave declaring his love in that show took my breath away, I cried. Wonderful actors headed by Lesley who has become one of my favourite actresses now but really the whole cast. It has everything, its funny, sad, romantic, sentimental and also has side characters that we might love to hate. oh and the writing is superb it really is.. Amazing 👏 kudos to all involved

I loved the show. incredible cast and performance and most importantly to me, it focused on one theme (the romance in middle and old age) rather than ticking all the boxes of the political and social stuff in tv shows nowadays
