I want to retire early. I'd like to at least fill the first tax bracket every year because not doing so seems silly. Trying to make sure you don't underconvert or overconvert your money into Roth is kinda tough.

how much do i spend in retirement? it depends on how i want to live ... live like i did before (spend same amount as before retirement), less?, more? we shoot for the same amount including all living costs, vacations and charity donations we aim at $12k/month avg.

@@earlyretirementari it is market dependent but, ‘26 is the goal. Maybe ‘27. I don’t want to go “pro” in a down mkt

If you don't know where you're going, you may end up somewhere you don't want to be; plans help you avoid that...

The average people spend in retirement? I'm going to guess 25k/year.

~$4,000/month is the "average according to "google", but who knows how accurate that is. The numbers I use are from my clients who actually retired early.

$4K/mo sounds reasonable if your house is paid off

Average is misleading, think median for a More accurate picture
