We usually prepare an executive summary slide as part of our pre reads, summarizing problem, context, proposed solution, and the ask from leadership. Do you recommend going through that summary as an introduction to the actual presentation?

Absolutely! Well... specifically any regular glasses are appropriate. Novelty glasses like the ones that give you a fake nose and moustache are often a bad idea.
