Great content captain mustard these egr valves are just thing to go wrong yes I know emmisons and all that nonsense but I still like a old skool diesel no nonsense simple engineering or a simple petrol engine sod these new cars of today really love the fact you haven't given up which is great to see thank you
The 75 really does suit you Paul! Perfect family car, Perfect for Wilma, Diesel, Estate & it can tow with its tow bar! 😊 PERFECT 🙏 Oh and it’s a ROVER 🤙
Back at PNHQ, those huge grey blocks that make up the new retaining wall make me think of Lego bricks! It suddenly occurred to me that there's a Kenneth in 'South Park'. Not that I've ever really watched it but I do drink my coffee from a 'South Park' mug I was given for Christmas about 25 years ago! Its got 'Chef' on it though and not Kenneth!😀
I guess if you have aspirations to become an antique dealer you'd have to venture down the Swedish route & equip yourself with a 700 or 900 series Volvo estate. Sewing some leather patches on to the elbows of a cardigan & claiming to be a Geography teacher also helps with the image 😂
A wannabe antique dealer? I’m not too sure. I like to think you are seen as more responsible and mature in traffic than average. A least that’s what comes naturally to me when getting behind the wheel of my 75. I just feel the need to bee the best citizen possible to my community 😄
Oh how exciting it would be to be a wannabe antique dealer. Spending your days appraising Queen Anne dining sets and turn of the century chaise longues before flirting with Lady Jane up at the big hall whilst her husband is down in London doing something dreadfully tiresome. Oh how lovely, but wait, here’s the Chief Super with another mysterious crime that he just can’t seem to get his head around. But we can, in between flitting between the auctions with our boozy assistant and simple apprentice we’ll solve this crime that even professional crime solvers can’t solve. And anyway if we don’t solve it then that guy who looks like the bloke out of Withnail and I who runs the restaurant down the road will probably manage it whilst he waits for his jus to reduce. Then after we can have another crack at Lady Jane whilst her husband is down in London doing something dreadfully tiresome.
Had to laugh at blanch, also a term f for part cooked , ideal for many rovers with k series as half cooked is a common sight simmering under the bonnet, yes 4 of my 216, 220 were blanched well
Double breasted tweed suit? 😮 You won’t find such a thing. Tweed is single breasted, to be worn with a waistcoat. You couldn’t shoot in a double breasted jacket!
Satisfyingly mucky, a sense of achievement acquired. Might be worth checking for common air leak at the intercooler outlet (O rings). Large nationwide membership has that club, annoying being tailgated in a 30 but fading into the distance in a 60 only to reappear glued to the rear bumper half way through the next village.

I feel the need, the need for tweed😎

A flat tweed cap will just top it all off😅

Well... Lovejoy drove a Morris Minor 😂
MT51 - Mike Tyson? 🤔
Antique dealers seem to swim in cash, so sadly no I don't think you're turning into one.
Would I be right in saying the rover75 is the poor man's jaguar
If you try putting them back the way they should be, after years of neglect, the poor man part is certainly true.
@niallsommerville9813 and I don't mean that in a bad way
Hi Paul is it still at 115 hp or 135 hp
Are you still sat at the green light 🙈😡🤣🤣
It's the real deal cheap as chips
