Interesting topic, thanks @CRA @David - what's the bet that the CC consists of ANC deployees who are filling their own coffers from the money obtained by companies who merely settle as opposed to challenging their arb findings? I wonder when someone will start investigating them?
We clearly need something like a Competition Commission to investigate blatantly anti-competitive practices like price collusion, predatory pricing, foreign subsidized imports, or non-natural monopolies. On the other hand, I cannot for the life of me see how BEE is any concern of a Competition Commission, or why it doesn't investigate serious anti-competitive behavior on the part of government.
The government should never have had a competition commission. ANCommunism is causing more rapid economic and moral decline (amongst the natives/aborigines, in particular, the vast majority of whom are buying fully into im morality & communism). Bring Frans Cronje and Paul O'Sullivan on for a talk together because I don't see the hope that they have for SA anywhere.
Speculative predation of the ANC provided underclass..provided for by unbelievably cheap food markets. God forbid healthy food should be supplied by suppliers who don't make utter plastic junk food...they do, in fact ,washing powder, soaps and disinfectants are closer to quality, despite the allowed poisons ,packaging poisons..not a green worm
What I see is massive waste of all this talent in these ANC departments. If they used this talent in reverse we would be a thriving jewel on the African continent. All they have to do is the opposite of what they are doing😜
