here is another opinion about yoko. she is a brilliant artist, one of the most brilliant things she ever did, in collaboration with john, was the bed in for peace, which got the peace movement on the front page of every paper in europe at a time when the masses were being brainwashed about the need for wars in vietnam and biafra and murdering innocent civilians around the world. she spent most her public life talking about love, peace and the democratization of art. i hardly see how this is hate worthy. i hope my opinion clarifies anything for you since you are so easily swayed by stories. most of the hostility towards her was motivated by jealousy from paul, who wrongly felt replaced by yoko instead of collaborative, and from throngs of women who dreamed they could marry john lennon if only it wasn't for that yoko.

I feel like in the 70s nobody ever really gave her a chance because they were either jealous of her for being with John or because they thought she broke up the Beatles. I was always jealous, so I blamed her for stuff. After watching interviews on her, I feel like she's actually a very gentle and wise person. Very kind too. I feel like she's just different than most people because of her culture. I wish the best for her.
My first time seeing Jonathan Ross and I must say he is the most splendid of hosts. Softly spoken and as well spoken as one could ever hope for a host to be. Yoko was actually a joy here. Very hard to explain. She hs become quite disarming and gracious in her old age and surprisingly energetic. She was catnip to John.
I do not understand her music, admittedly I have heard very little of it, most of us can scream so I fail to see the talent in that. Maybe I'm just not getting it. She seems very kind and gentle, has a Zen like quality to her. And looks amazing for any age but DAMN 80?!

i used to be anti yoko but she is such a misunderstood woman. i respect her. john and yoko were both two broken people who needed love.
