I'm performing the middle pillar for a month or so, every day... some days it feels indeed more grounded. @CreativeCodex not at all! I tried for many years to understand what and why has happened to me, and specifically why a "place" (what I learned after is a sephira) was called by another name in my experience. Only after I did study a little bit, but everything seemed rushed and couldn't give me any answers. So i gave up. Only last year I heard in another channel here in utube that in some medieval texts that sephira is called like this sometimes. I had no idea for this meditation till july 04 and it's really chilling that the wording for the sephira "I got" is the same

Thank you for this - I recently read Israel Regardie’s Art of Healing, which I adore, and it contained this meditation- I thought, ‘I must record it so I can practice it correctly’, but thanks to you I don’t have to! Interesting result from my first time practicing this: I have been experiencing Raynaud’s symptoms in my right hand (very cold and losing colour and circulation). During the meditation warm energy rushed into the affected area and is still there now! Feeling a lot more comfortable. Amazing! Thank you again x
I love this meditation so much. I’ve recently come back to it and it makes me feel so energized and warm. The feeling the spiral power rising gives is so pleasant and I feel happy and balanced to start my day. Will definitely make this a habit again first thing in the morning. I like to do the LBRP first and after this meditation as well. Really gives a clear and clean feeling
Yes, I did the same thing. I read the book and thought I needed to record it. I was already aware of Regardie’s recording on TH-cam, but his voice was not calming to me. I also have done Marc Allen’s version for a couple of years, but his is a short version and he leaves out the Hebrew words. I do give him credit because he introduced me to the middle pillar meditation. I’ve been doing this daily for a few weeks and love it. Thanks.
Thank you so much for making this instructional video. A lot of other people have, “explained” the Middle Pillar practice but I haven’t found anyone who goes slowly, offering a step by step approach. Often people will even omit the final section of the rotation of energy as well. Very much appreciated. 🙏 ✨ 🪐

Thank you for this meditation. I'm a new student of the Golden Dawn & this helps tremendously. I can feel the difference just doing this 2 days in a row! I've been on this path a long time but finally committed to Ceremonial Magick. I feel the light energy so deeply filling each Sephiroth. I've got much to purge & filing it up with the light of Source after I release it changes everything. Much love to you.
Thank you Dee! It is flattering to know you find this work that valuable. I would not consider myself a student of the Golden Dawn, but I appreciate the way the Golden Dawn tradition brought together Hermetic philosophy and Qabalah. Love & Light on your journey.
It does, as a former thelemite I used to do this often. It's really nice now that i am not in a temple any more to have this. Your vibrations are great to follow along with. 😊

I am so glad I found this today. I can feel my third eye, I wanna say de-calcifying.. even if I don't know whatbthat really means. The Hebrew words really moved through me. I could feel my root center receive information. I loved the foot section spiraling light upwards! ✨️
Returning to commenting today again. I am practicing this meditation for the 3rd time today and I have felt the energy entering me, even though I could hardly visualize it moving down. I felt it nevertheless. In the beginning, I felt like a tree person or a leaf, maybe a creature with a very different kind of face than mine. I felt somewhat feminine but very different. Moving downwards, the singing of the names started many different movements. By the end, I was tingling and beaming all over. I could hear my mind talk and wonder, asking questions about why this would work. I could still feel the powerful energies moving thru me all the while. I feel thankful, awake, a but worried, restless, energized and dehydrated. Looking forward to coming back sooner than this time around.
absolutely beautiful! So pleasing to find this helpful meditation! I plan to follow your advice and continue this practice. Thank you so much for your help and guidance
Thanks Kimmah, happy to hear it had a positive effect. I was just practicing it this morning. And still try to do it daily, when my morning routine allows. It is even more interesting, when you get used to it, to try it with another person or more. The chanting of the divine names, vibrating together, becomes something even more impressive.
I tried it 25 years ago, before internet and all, I remember learning it the hard way and pronouncing it wrong. This is a great time to live in..so many information is accesable now. You are doing such a great job!! Teaching people how to do it properly, very important work!
Thank you for your explanation. I am going to start doing it. This is all new to me. I have been practicing the LBPR for a couple of weeks now. So that's a good introduction for me and a nice segway into the middle pillar. Have a blessed day. :)
Yes! Israel Regardie mentions that the two are often paired together (LBRP and Middle Pillar). Wishing you the best in your work. Happy that my video helped!
I feel incredibly and mysteriously good after this meditation ( even if blundering through it and miss some words or breaths). However warning, this can bring overconfidence or even psychotic aggression. After two days I usually feel too great and feel i no longer need the meditation, things go back down hill from there. During visualizing the Yesod Ball my feet became very hot. I've tried this maybe 40 times over the last 10 years and always the next day people look at me different, like there is a kick in my step or something
Yes! I agree on the 'mysteriously good' feelings this meditation gives. It always gives me an aftereffect of something like a pleasant 'buzzing' or feeling of 'light.' Thank you for trying it!

Long story short, when I was focusing on the sphere at my feet, I experienced a slight surge of warmth and excitement of the nerves! Quite fascinating to say the least. I thank you kind sir for your guidance. What brought me here? ‘The One Year Manual’ by Mr Israel Regardie. Blessed be
Really?? No kidding. Have you tried it again since? I certainly feel a type of 'buzz' and heightened awareness after practicing it still, but if you are experiencing something more intense than that I am interested to hear about it.
And thank you for watching! I would be interested to hear about any experiences you have with it. Please feel free to share or message me on Instagram: @mjdorian
This is very very good MJ, even the subtle ambient sound is excellent. I'm sort of practicing a combo of this and Damien Echols version which emphasises the colour of the spheres - the energy 'wrap' at the end is great, I'll keep ya posted with results!
That’s excellent to hear! Thank you for your input and for giving it a test drive. I know there are some variations of it, Echols might do the chanting / singing of the names a bit different, but I tried to stay true to the way Israel Regardie presents this in his book (The Middle Pillar) and his Golden Dawn Tapes.
Been working with this, and my chakras, and the world triad, I combined this with golden orbs of healing entering all 12 chakras and following the breathing and then put the world triad to circle around the system to act as a shell 3 golden orbs circling and entering the eyes of each of the small eye orbs on the water drops that circle. A three fold system. Then activated a second one in the mind as well as a invisible physical manifestation of it. It's day one of such an experiment wish me luck on it.
This is great. You are excellent at vibrating the words and your narration is smooth & calming. Thank you! Only wish I had found your channel sooner! Blessed be 😊
Thanks very much Hannah. I appreciate the feedback. I was just practicing this one again the other day and my mind surprises me at times with the things it visualizes without any prompting while focusing on the spheres.
Haha, the material world will always try to impede on these things. It reminds me of the passage in the Bible when the devil is tempting Jesus right as he is on the cusp of his spiritual realization.

@@LadyAbstract Yes, certainly! There is more than one way to chant the names and some people sing them. But be careful about making the singing too much of the focus. The focus should be the inner work with the spheres, and the visualization of the energy movements taking place. As long as singing helps you tune into that aspect then by all means, go for it!
Ooo ooo I do I do! ✋ It’s my own music and sound design. 😁 I write and record my own music for all of my episodes on my podcast. It’s one of the most rewarding parts of the work for me. One of the main elements in this one is one of my favorite Tibetan singing bowls. It forms the main drone in the meditation part.
After first time I did this I fell to sleep and had vivid dreams, in them family/ friends with whom I’ve issues with and as disturbing as they were they also released a lot of emotions . Why is this?
@@ElisPalmer That is a separate ritual, though connected in the Golden Dawn tradition. If one is to perform ceremonial magick, it is recommended to do both.
Thank you, I've done the meditation sitting and standing. Both are very effective. I haven't tried lying down, but I imagine it could also work, although it might be more relaxing, while I notice with sitting or standing work it is more energizing.
You said you had been doing this middle pillar meditation for about 2 weeks at this point. I was curious if you were still doing it and did you have an update on your experience or how it has affected you of a longer period of time?
Hi Tyrone, sure thing. I still regularly practice the mediation, though not with daily frequency. The visualizations have a curious degree of spontaneity to them...Sometimes I will see the energy moving down the pillar as a slow shaft of white light, other times I will see it as a stream of water. Sometimes I will get flashes of the different spheres as specific geometric shapes, or certain symbols within. None of this is intended or planned, and when it occurs, I am pleasantly surprised, make a mental note, and keep moving forward with the rest of the meditation. At this point, I do at times also feel an inclination to try a more advanced form of the Middle Pillar with Regardie mentions in his book, which activates all of the sephiroth, rather than just the Middle Pillar. Happy to answer any other questions! I hope your experiences with it have been positive.
@@CreativeCodex hey, did it the whole 5 days (6 actually) straight while laying and I can say that sleep is the last thing I want to do after this MP exercise. Lol Actually I could not fall asleep for hours after doing it in the evening. But on the other note I felt very much balanced and energized in my day to day life, after months of mental and physical exhaustion it was just what I needed. Thank you very much for posting this exercise on youtube. By the way, I have a question. I used to do lbrp everyday, but after reading that having your field too sterile is not good also I am thinking of performing it (each time together with a kabbalistic cross) like once or twice a week while I do MP around 5 days a week. Is this a good plan? After reading that middle pillar lights you up like a christmas tree in the astral and can attract parasites lbrp is a must, yes?
@@MrCoconut212 Incredible! I'm happy to hear you have found the meditation helpful. I still practice it regularly, though I am beginning to feel that I want to explore the other sefirot. In Regardie's book, there is mention of an extended version of the Middle Pillar which engages the larger Tree of Life. I think I will be exploring this soon. Regarding the LBRP and Kabbalistic Cross, it does seem like a good system the way you have planned it out. This work can at times be so personal that experience varies from person to person. I would love to hear any feedback you might have after combining them in the way you mentioned!
If Hermeticism comes from Ancient Egypt, why would you meditate in Hebrew? Hermes Trismegistus would use Egyptian language and culture? I just trying to make sense if it. Thanks
This is an incredible question! It really gets us to the heart of the matter. The Middle Pillar comes from the tradition of Hermetic Qabalah, which is at its core: a syncretic tradition. It mixes elements of Kabbalah, Hermetic Philosophy, Gnosticism, Astrology, Greco-Roman Philosophy, and even Alchemy. So you are absolutely right! If this was strictly a Hermetic practice, why does it not use Egyptian language? But wrapped up in the answer of even that question is this strange tangent: Hermetic Philosophy is not Egyptian in origin, or ancient. By all accounts, it is Greco-Roman, from about 200 BC into at least 400 AD. It comes out of a similarly rich cultural tapestry of syncretic philosophies. The Greco-Romans idealized the Egyptians as the true keepers of Wisdom and Magic. I hope that helped! Thank you for your question.
Thanks for replying. I guess am coming from the understanding that Hermetics comes from Hermès who is also known as the god Thoth in Egypt who wrote the Emerald Tablets and the Egyptian Book of the Death. I believe his works were later compiled in The Kybalion.
@@timothybrakefield6405 Yes. To an extent. The Emerald Tablet of Hermes Trismegistus is the real deal, a powerful enigmatic text carved in stone, although it is confirmed to be dated around 700 AD, and not as ancient as the Corpus Hermeticum. (Don't be fooled by The Emerald Tablet of Thoth. That one is a fraud which was 'channeled' by an author in the 1900's.) Also... The Kybalion is often wrongly credited as Hermetic Philosophy, as it presents itself as such. (I believed it was genuine at first too.) But once you read the primary sources (the dialogues of Hermes Trismegistus) you realize The Kybalion is unfortunately equivalent to fan fiction.
What a sneaky way to get multiple views on your video. I wish I could do something similar with my music. "Listen to this song once a day for a week and you will magically feel amazing! Trust me bro!" 😂
@@artemisnite That’s silly. 😅 Yeah, if I cared more about views than content I would be making ASMR and political commentary videos. The goal is for you to be able to do it without the vid. Why dont you do the 4 fold breath? 4 in, 4 hold, 4 out, 4 hold. Your way is not as was taught in the Golden Dawn and is not as relaxing as the 4x4 method explained in the neophyte grade???
My apologies. In my personal experience I only use square breathing to lower my heart rate and prepare for very specific esoteric work. I find the Middle Pillar to be more beneficial to be done while a little more awake and in control. Just personal preference after having practiced it. No offense to Golden Dawn folks out there.
When you vibrate AHIH and the others shouldn't you vibrate the word with one single breath without stopping.. You seen to pause each letter.. Wouldn't be better to do without any pauses
Haha I can tell you haven’t been trained but you did a good job . You do the words from your Head nose and neck rather than reverberating it through your chest. You do it kind of sing song it’ll still work it’s just not as powerful you’re not really vibrating and getting deep Vibration which in fact is energy, it’s kind a like getting 10% out of your car when you could be getting 100% octane fuel
Interesting. I have read a good deal, and followed the recorded demonstration by Israel Regardie on the Golden Dawn tapes. But as far as being a participant in current Golden Dawn chapters, you are right, I have not taken that step.
@@CreativeCodex really? And Israel sounds like you? Do you have a link I can listen to?.. You seem to sound different than any other person I heard do this. @@DavenDsota Hi Daven! Thank you! I’m really glad to know this work resonates. I will have to post more of my guided meditation episodes soon, people are clearly responding well to it. I’m happy to be of service in even this small way in bringing you back to this work. Let me know how the challenge goes, I have felt the compulsion to do more of this meditation lately, so I will pick it up again as well. Love & Light brother. ~MJDorian
Hi Zo Ho! That is very interesting. I'm glad that my video was able to help you, if even in a small way. That is very rewarding for me to know.
Much appreciated! Thank you. Happy to hear it resonated with you. And yes, I wanted to do justice to it where others perhaps adjusted it for simplicity’s sake. I love every facet of it the way it is and still practice it.
Just listening to this is vibrating through my hole body, I am learning to do this properly, thank you. Good video!
@@angelagigante9470 Pleased to hear that! 🌞 Happy vibrating!

Thank you Lacou! Very glad it resonates with you in some way. This meditation always serves me well to find balance when things are getting too hectic and chaotic. :)
Thank you, and l love you all, God bless.
I'm on day 4 and it's 'already' been such a game changer. Thank you so much for providing this video. Blessed Be. ✨

Thank you so much. I felted guided to search for a Middle Pillar meditation and was drawn to yours because of the fact that you mentioned Israel Regardie. So happy I did! Your voice and the way you chant is nice to listen to and follow along with. Thank you again. 💜🙏🏽💜
Thank you Ana! Yes, I made a deliberate choice to follow Regardie's version, which he recorded as well on the Golden Dawn Tapes. It was a way of showing my respect to the great debt we owe Regardie for his efforts in publishing these works that might have otherwise been lost.
@@CreativeCodex I hope you record some more meditations. I shouldn’t say your voice is nice (which it is) but more friendly and approachable- encouraging. Yes, I think that’s a better word. Great explanations and background information, too! Thanks again. I’m off to do this meditation again…
I am in second practice of the middle pillar. This morning, while practising I felt strong sensation of tingling as if I were being pinched with needles in my right side from my right foot to the top of my head. It really hurt but I kept calm.
@@mundadiNtita Hmm, I haven’t heard of that reaction to the meditation before. Have you experienced anything similar in other meditations or if sitting still for too long? If it occurs outside of the meditation you may have a pinched nerve worth checking out at your doctor.
No, that was my first time to feel like that. And After that I had a sensation of welbeing. I am in good health. When I practised the ritual of the pentagram, I felt as if I was about to cry everyday for two weeks. And when I practised the ritual of the hexagramme, I vomitted the whole night and two days later I had diareah. I have no health problem. . I am 71. @@CreativeCodex
Anyway, thank you so much for reacting.
One of the Best!!!!
Thanks very much! Glad it resonates.
It does, as a former thelemite I used to do this often. It's really nice now that i am not in a temple any more to have this. Your vibrations are great to follow along with. 😊
@@jedimonk362 I appreciate that! Thanks very much. And you’re most welcome. I have other meditations in the main podcast feed (on Spotify and such) which I will try to post here in the coming months.
Amazing meditation...ties together all that is taken out of a book. So nice to have one to follow along.
Thanks so much! I find Israel Regardie's books incredibly insightful and well written. They provide wonderful springboards for further engagement and study of these traditions. And thank you again!
It is beautiful and everything you say is truth , the meditation shifts you to a peaceful centred place .
Brilliant! Thank-you.
I first heard about this from Carolyn Elliott who wrote Existential Kink and finally, here found the perfect guided meditation for it. Thanks.
absolutely beautiful!
This is amazing! Thank you, pronunciation is great!
Thanks so much! Really glad you are enjoying it. I've been practicing it daily recently each morning, a wonderful buzzing effect.

I have sought to learn about invoking energies or spirits. In this,my first meditation,I did…to my delight, experience sensation! I suffer T2 diabetes and my feet hurt from the neuropathy.

Thank you!!🙏🏾
Great video! I’m doing it tonight! 🙏🏾🥰
Thanks! I found this helpful
Thank you for giving it a try. I personally love the effect it has on me.
Subtle like a freight train. Was worrying about fiscal things. Phone rang in the middle of the 1st listen through. Dispatched a work contract. :)
Haha, the material world will always try to impede on these things. It reminds me of the passage in the Bible when the devil is tempting Jesus right as he is on the cusp of his spiritual realization.
Great meditation..thank you got sharing...
Cheers! Thank you for giving it a try. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have, and as much as other people who reach out to me after trying it have.

im having a hard time vibrating it. Can i sing it instead like idk hwo to describe but not sing it like a song but sing just in name form
The meditation starts at 2:50
Good job my friend 🙏🏻☯️
Anyone knows the name of the music in the video?
Ooo ooo I do I do! ✋ It’s my own music and sound design. 😁 I write and record my own music for all of my episodes on my podcast. It’s one of the most rewarding parts of the work for me. One of the main elements in this one is one of my favorite Tibetan singing bowls. It forms the main drone in the meditation part.
After first time I did this I fell to sleep and had vivid dreams, in them family/ friends with whom I’ve issues with and as disturbing as they were they also released a lot of emotions . Why is this?
Do you still have to do the kabbalistic cross? What’s the difference between the two?
@@ElisPalmer That is a separate ritual, though connected in the Golden Dawn tradition. If one is to perform ceremonial magick, it is recommended to do both.
awesome video, can we do lying down or standing better
Can I do it while laying down?
Certainly, the only drawback is you may get a bit more sleepy and less alert. I mainly practice it sitting in an alert position or standing.
@@CreativeCodex thanks for your reply. I will keep you updated for sure.

That one is a fraud which was 'channeled' by an author in the 1900's.)
Also...

You can alternatively listen to it (without the opening TH-cam placed ad) on my podcast-Creative Codex-the meditation is there as well. Best of luck with your music!
You do the words from your
Head nose and neck rather than reverberating it through your chest.

I followed Israel Regardie's presentation of this particular meditation.
