Brilliant video Colin. Used to be a taxi driver-one firm I worked at had a newish BX estate and all the drivers wanted to drive it. It was so smooth to drive. Keep well.
Always look forward to your Weekly Uploads, Colin, and another brilliant one, Today. What a find. Some Iconic Models on show: such a shame that they've been left to rot.

Like i have commented before im so glad we have a person like you on TH-cam that has the time and the respect to share these beautiful cars with everybody around the world even if they are taken back by nature or they will be able to hopefully be saved
Hi Colin, list of the cars I recognize: 8:03 Citroen XM Break on blue paint; 8:21 most likely a Mercedes 190 (W201); 12:57 most likely a Mercedes W124; 10:10 Citroen C15 Romahome Hylo (motorhome based on Citroen C15 chassis); 13:27 that Citroen CX mirror also used on Lotus Esprit X180 (1988-1994); 19:32 Citroen GS Birotor engine made by Citroen and since it was a complete disaster in many ways in France they, Citroen, tried to buy thyem back from the customers to destroy them, but luckly some owners refused to sell the car and still keep it to this day; 25:32 Citroen 2 CV Fourgonnette; 23:12 it looks like to me a 1936 Citroën Rosalie 7UA MI.
Hi Colin and James I think both of you need survival medals for that video,it was almost jungle warfare!!!! Great selection of classic cars, really is a crying shame seeing them rotting away.I owed 2 Citreon amis back when I was first driving and the ride in them was excellent a little squishy if too fast in corners lol! And my Dad owed a Bx and the ride in that was superb as you said. Any way another great video from you two explorers, great commentary as usual Colin.Really looking forward to next weeks after that one. Take care both of you.😃
Hi Colin & James. Hope your doing good. That was such a cool video. So sad seeing all those Citroen's just rotting away like that. I loved the video. Stay safe and take care.
21:22 That's not an AX, that's a Visa GTI! Possibly the rarest of the lot. If howmanyleft is to be believed, there are 18 SORN and only 1 currently licensed in the UK.
I don’t know if there’s anything else that will top this one for me. And yes, sorry about the misinformation - I said it was a rotary when it wasn’t. You never stop learning!
My father owns an SM, owned since 1997. We’d love a spare set of headlight glass. My brother has a a 73 DS. Tragic to see such classics being reclaimed by nature. Thanks for the video.
I grew up with Citroens, my parents had a GSA, BX, Xantia and now C5, always Breaks (= estates). I learnt to drive on the BX, it was so nice to drive because it had an incredible suspension system and was quite light for the size but quite powerful with the 2 litre injection engine. I wish I still had it as well as the GSA, they have become so rare now. Still I never had a Citroen of my own, once almost had an AX GTi and another time almost had a Mehari, but I was young then and didn't have the money and space.

It really makes you wonder how many old abandoned vehicles are around the world! I think you must have found many of them too. Have you save anymore lately yourself Colin? A great explore you have given us. 👍
I know someone who had both a BX GTi and Bx Gti 16 v 4 x 4. I briefly had a Zantia less than a week easiest £450 ive ever made, only problem it leaked oil. Citroen haven't improved as my 2013 DS3 Dsport Thp also constantly has a slight oil leak.
Nice one ,Guys , but such a shame . A fiend of mine in the RAF had an SM . He used to call it his ,Thunderbirds car .(This was back in 1982 ) . It would have made the video complete if ,Tarzan had coming crashing through the undergrowth . lol . Stay safe ,Guys .
I've been driving past this place for years, there were always interesting old Citroens parked outside the front, Tractions Avant's, Gs's and CX's etc but I had no idea this lot was locked away there. It'd be a great source of rare spares, Citroen nerds must know about it?
Shame to burst ya bubble guys but that's not a rotary motor in the GSA, they were a flat four motor, similar in design to an Impreza motor, you can see the cambelts on the GS... Obviously rotary motors don't have cambelts..or cams 👍
@@hoggmotorsport no it isn’t, it’s the owners location, and although we document them we owe it to the people who own them to show care and consideration to the cars, and to use discretion about who knows where something is. Loose lips sinks ships.

Citroen owned Maserati for a few years and used their engines in quite a lot of models shame there all scrap cars when I lived in the UK their was a man in Ripley who had a few hundred Citroens I owned all the Citroens but never a DS could not find a good one I could afford I think you should take better footwear with you and a pair of cutter's good video thanks. I forgot to mention rust was always a problem the Maserati engines they used were really unreliable I was buying CX and SMs for under a thousand pounds back in the early 80s
let them rest in peace most of the cars are not worth restauring i restaured a DS21 ie for more than 60 k euro 15 years ago it would cost now more than 100k the SM probably double that amount but some one could do that because of the masratie motor
Thanks!

Amazing neighbour had a BX GTI when I was growing up. Cool cars.
Excellent video 📸
The CX mirrors are also used on the McLaren F1 as well as quite a few other cars including Lotus Esprit and Excel, TVR Griff and Chimera.

It breaks my heart to see the SMs and the DSs abandoned (and also the CXs). Beautiful cars, still should be on the road.

About 1977 I was 14 and my dad had a Citroen CX the one that had a curved back window that was a cool 😎 car
Visa Gti is a rare, rare thing indeed, rarer than an SM.
...and a lot of fun to drive.

Hi, will you be doing Redditch Police Station before it gets demolished ??? loads of ways in at the minute ?
Incredible place!! But the GS is no birotor. It is just a usual GS equipped with twin webers. Just a normal 4 cylinder boxer motor.
Give it up boys. Too funny. Such a shame and a very big waste of so many nice cars. Welly boots on explores Colin. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

A good restored SM is worth around £40k so the 2 there despite the state they're in are still financially viable to restore

That "Rotary" Citroen isnt a rotary....its a normal flat four piston engine.....Please be factual...😳🙄🇬🇧

Ok the BX were great cars but the suspension n braking pipes were a grand to replace after 8 years, so it’s a mot fail for relatively good cars

Sorry a rotary dont have cambelt or camshafts..
ongelooflijk daar moet toch iets mee gedaan worden.
there is a better citroen graveyard inside a old church, sadly no access allowed
Would love to buy a strimmer and cut down all the brambles to free these cars

Why don’t you ever wear sensible footwear? Love the content….
Where’s the fun in that?
Th Birotor was a Citroen built engine based on an NSU (Ro 80) design. Fun little internet rabbit hole, never knew the French had Wankel engines too.
