Same. I found jomez a year or so ago and mcbeast was my guy, partly because he was on every broadcast.. But the more I watch, the more I love Calvin and his ever-stoic mannerisms and dry humor. Unlike most sports, I just can't really see anyone on this tour that isn't super likable. Just a bunch of dudes out there having a good time together, despite competing against one another. Love it.

I love the mic on the players. Not sure if they don't talk much though, or if it's an editorial decision to not include more, but I wish there was more. It would be cool to flash a small icon on the screen when you're including the mic'd up players audio.

The nose up allowed the disc to slide. The trajectory of the throw was low and had the nose of the disc been angled down the shot would have only made it halfway to the pin. It's a technical throw that requires the right combination of power and finesse
@@bigjermdg Are they throwing putters than? That's the only disc that flies nose up for me. I can't really talk cause I only started a month ago. My backhand is trash, and always flys nose up. Only saving grace I have is being a 6'4 sidearm pitcher. Edit: thanks for taking the time to answer questions. I didn't even realize it was the man himself! Does Nate have a spare firebird for sale? 😂
@@DolarsAndSense Jeremy is referring to a very slight amount of nose up. Probably no more than 2°-4° difference from normal whereas most people at your stage of technique are throwing at around 10°-20° above optimal. The disc trajectory is down but the nose-up angle keeps it flying level relative to the ground with the ability to skip forward easier at the end of the flight. It's kinda like a very long stall shot if you've ever done that with a beach or ultimate frisbee.
Just want to say how much I appreciate your coverage of the tournaments, it's really great. One thing, is it possible to not say the featured player names in the video titles? I like to watch the tournaments round by round, but it's very difficult to avoid seeing which players make it to the final, thus spoiling the watching enjoyment of the earlier rounds somewhat. Thanks!
