I feel like the European disc golf industry didn't Plateau as the American one did. 4k post produced with this turnaround required some expensive equipment. Much respect
@@FresN8I think its just a good place to save some resources as the difference is not that big, barely noticeable compared to 60fps, in the context of disc golf. Dont think its a standard though, it could be.
@@Patrolle50fps/Hz is the European standard in TV and video production. I found this explanation: "Europe uses 50Hz instead of 60Hz because it fits their metric standards better."
I honestly dont Care If quality is 4k etc. Much bigger deal is consistant camera Work and unified white balance so that The footage is pleasant to watch.
Came back to watch this again. I think this is my favorite card ever. Love this course, the chill vibe of commentary, and we got Niklas, Beast, and Buckets. And enjoyed watching Carlsson as well. Good job y'all.
This should be the norm. On my local courses, most trees - even those a bit further from the tee - have hundreds of wounds. Some are partially shredded and have branches only on one side. We must make disc golf more environmentally friendly. That's no fully in line with selling tons of plastic discs but there's much more besides that what can be done. E.g. maybe allow flowers like clovers and dandelions grow on fairway insted of mowing it green, etc. PDGA should set up environmental guidelines.
@@McSloboyes, I wish more courses were proactive with preservation. They should also be adding wood chips around the trees, the compaction of the soil is just as bad if not worse than the disc damage.
@@IndioceanI don't quite understand the point of your comment. The word nature in the original comment didn't literally mean nature. But if we talk about these two events, The Preserve and this course are totally different and this course propably just suites Paul better. Ricky won at The Preserve and is 81st after the first round. That fact doesn't actually tell you anything on it's own.
It's very frustrating and stressful to play when you got this 3-D scorecard (green,red,red,green,red,gre....) I hope back 9 is something else. Don't want to put my 3-D glasses on again. Nice coverage!
This commentary was very professional, it was a bit funny when the footage finished and it was just a couple of dudes sitting in front of a computer. I was expecting to see the weird cgi dgn booth.
Hole 4 was the kind of hole I don't understand. It just has trees and spaces between. Fine, good players can throw accurately using some route among the mess but what if there's wind and gusts? Suddenly it's just a luck fest. While these are good ones to learn aiming on local hobby courses I don't think they're that competition worthy.
This is my first MDG video I've watched and it's great. High quality production and feet conversion for us from the States.
Welcome aboard!
Man I absolutely love disc golf courses like this. The pro tour should be almost exclusively played on these types of tracks
Everything but the rocks and roots in landing zones. Too much luck involved.
MDG, we appreciate the effort to publish in 4k 50 fps. It's criminal how difficult it is in 2024 to post produce in 4k 60 fps with free software.

Pretty sure 50fps is the European standard.

What a FAST turn around. Incredible stuff MDG! Can’t wait to watch this coverage 👏👏👏
I appreciate you guys bringing out the great coverage of the European tour stops👏🏼
Love MDG Media! 4k! Awsome! :)
Absolutely love your approach to announcing. Perfect blend of information and talk IMO. Watching in Wisconsin.
Great Job MDG!
Super fast Publish!!! Very nice thank you, well done Maxim And Lukko!!
The commentary is really enjoyable, good job gguys

Stunning course, fantastic video quality, and excellent, knowledgeable commentary.
A+! Kudos!!
Great coverage MDG! Keep it coming, we love it!
WOW this is a dream course! Great coverage and great commentary!
It's really cool how the tree trunks are shielded!
Fantastic rocks too

Paul McBeth shredding in Europe... nature is healing
Minnesota is ALL nature. He came in abt 50th. Sooooo

@@Indiocean completely different style of course
Great coverage. Thank you 🙏
Paul is cracked, the circle 2 putts from a conventional stance are so impressive!!
Capturing Pauls hole 9 Tee shot is such great material for seeing how to throw a forehand.
Camera crew was AMAZING
Man this is great commentary and camera work
Really nice coverage!
Best opening music bar none
Swedish Open, lets go!
Big E-dawg and Lil M in the booth.
The commentary is interesting
BEst disc golf coverage I've ever seen. Bravo!
Hearing the sweeds call Joseph Anderson “Joe Buckets” is hysterical lolllll
Well, Maxime is Belgian, and Elias is Finnish..😁
2160p???? Don’t mind if i do
Any news on Eagle?
No European Spoiler Shield....refreshing!
actually being able to hear the event would be cool
Awesome coverege! So fast and quality! 🎉 0:40 lens is getting dusty 😢
Dang, haven't even teed off yet and they've already dropped down to tied for 64th.
Hole 4. OMFG. Are you kidding me?
Do you love it or hate it?
How I wish this was at Järva so that I could see it!
I love my passion. I still can't figure out the glitch when I'm on the course. The wild honey I have is not that flippy
LFG PAUL MCBETH!!!
Paug McDerward
yung lean on commentary
Hahaha legend
All there to see mcbeth
How can you have this up already?!?!
Different time zones

MDG media > Jomez
Not a chance 🤣 you must be on something 😂
Millos Nikke on eka kiekalla onnistunu.❤❤

Put a cap on that lens! 🫣
Why do the commentators share one mic and one laptop?
Budget cuts😬

Love this course style but all the rocks and roots in the landing zones make the outcomes too random.
This makes me appreciate jomez commentary even more.
I enjoy the change of style
Maxime how about not just repeating what Elias says?
Was McBeth suffering an injury recently... his playing is quite erratic?
Lol yes. You really didn't know?
@@Discsforbaskets Well I guess I haven't been watching that closely.
@@Discsforbaskets please elaborate on Paul’s injury issue
Yes, he had a torn labrum later last season and it has affected this season for sure. Also probably distracted by foundation work and new baby.
His fan boys are still talking about his last season's injury when he doesn't do well but then they pass over it when he does 😅
