Jakow Trachtenberg - Who derived his own Speed Math in Nazi Concentration Camp - Trachtenberg System

The Trachtenberg system is a system of rapid mental calculation. The system consists of a number of readily memorized operations that allow one to perform arithmetic computations very quickly. It was developed by the Russian Jewish engineer Jakow Trachtenberg in order to keep his mind occupied while being in a Nazi concentration camp.

His focus helped him to keep his sanity while he was in hell. Even more amazing is that he survived seven years in that Nazi hell. Most died within the first year.

Both are good in their own ways..
And one should learn both for a deeper understanding..
But Vedic Maths has covered arithmetic in a more extensive manner..
