I believe as far as both leadership style and in the regime he wants to recreate, Putin admires Stalin and Stalinism most of all. And the comparison of Ukraine to Poland at the start of WW2 is quite accurate...Poland was also ruled by a deeply flawed regime with a dictator at the top and its own concentration camps for political opponents. So while Ukraine is not as bad now as Poland was back then, there are plenty of major reasons to be quite distrustful of them. Another really interesting reaction...keep them coming...please and thank you. LOL
Sorry, but this is completely not true. Poland was not ruled by a dictator during WW2, but by elected president. There was a dictator ruling Poland before, named Józef Piłsudski, but he died in 1935, so 4 years before war started. Also, there was no concentration camps in Poland whatsoever. There was only 1 prison for political prisoners, called Bereza Kartuska, but just 3 thousand people were held there, mostly members of illegal communist, fascist and terroriest organizations (Communist Party of Poland, ONR and OUN respectively), and only between 3 to 20 people died there in the 5 years of its existence (depending on which sources you trust). This is nothing even remotely comparable with German concentration camps. More people die in US prisons every day
I appreciate your comment, however, I don't honestly quite understand what you are trying to convey. If I may try to clarify... are you suggesting that I don't know what is going on in Russia with it's brutal and inhuman attack on the innocents in Ukraine? I assure you that I do. The world sees the truth of Putins lies and the unfortunate brainwashing of its own people. I, my family and my country stand with Ukraine. Please.... I encourage and support your comments and please take a moment to clarify its meaning.
