I travel with zero expectations. I travel for new and interesting moments. I try to immerse myself into the local vibe. I ask my cab driver where he eats, not where all the tourists eat. Try visiting my region in Poland called Bieszczady ^^ google and read some to pick the best places to visit here ^^ Moutain hiking with wast forests and wildlife with a hint of civilisation
After a lot of traveling, my biggest expectation is not seeing abandoned, homeless, miserable cats, dogs, elephants or other animals. I saw dogs on a meat market in Soul, abused bulls in Spain. I heard that in southern Europe and Middle East there are pleof street homeless, animals, abused elephants or monkeys in Asia, gased elder pets in Japan… I’ll never ever visit those countries.
There is this thing I always loved about Poland. Every major city is different. Krakow is a large historical city with small city vibe, Warsaw is the New York of Poland with skyscrapers and big city life vibe, Gdansk is a Polish Amsterdam with new meets old vibe, Wroclaw is the city of chill and Poznan is a sleepy city during the day and the party capital during the night.
I know what you mean! I was just there last month. Went to Warsaw and Krakow and falling in love with Poland isn’t something I expected to happen BUT I truly fell in love with Poland! I miss it! I left my heart in Poland! It is such an amazing, beautiful, sooooooo clean! The history, architecture I love everything Poland! I will definitely coming back soon! ❤❤❤
Truthfully, I would have never watched a video about Poland. You guy introduced us. I hope you show so much more of Poland because it looks amazing and friendly.
thank you Colleen! And thank you so much for becoming a Patron too! It is amazing and friendly and we have SO much more to share. Thank you for your encouragement!
I am really loving these Poland videos. It’s so fun to see all these different places. Poland seems affordable, clean and not overcrowded! You seem to manage well in English. TH-cam is a hard game to play and I really hope we can beat this Algorythm . No matter what I always appreciate your hard work and dedication. ☺️
I see that you are in a romantic mood and a moment of reflection and you know that in the Wawel Castle there is one of the strongest chakras of the Earth, the heart chakra.😄❤

Thank you so much for your personal input that speaks very strongly about my country of Poland. I was born near Kraków and this city will be in my heart forever. I hope you will have many more wonderful experiences while in Poland and will be coming back to see how it is changing ...
We look forward to each and every one of your vids and watch them as soon as they come out. We’re watching YOU because we like YOU. And YOU have introduced us and shown us places and things we never would have thought we would enjoy as much as we do. Do YOU!
I’ve been watching you from the beginning. KK are the reason I got a passport and now visit Mexico every year. Before I found you both on TH-cam, Mexico would never have been on my radar. Now you’ve got me researching Poland! You never try to sell a city, you just let us experience it through you…good, bad and ugly, which is what I call, the perfect travel agents. Keep doing what you’re doing.

Never to old to travel even by yourself. I went to Slovenia beautiful country and to Salzburg by myself and I was 65. @@aureus1381 Finally, there are Poles who comment, at least someone knows what information I have about tourist attractions in Poland. I spent 2 months in Poland to explore the nature there, there are some that I forgot the names. That's right, I like to visit the category of natural attractions. I think it's very good to visit Mother Nature in every country, because we can know and see the geography of that country firsthand.
@@BigFamilyVolcanoIndonesia Probably 90% of Poles know that attractions in PL you mentioned except Ostrzyca that is called polish Fujijama.😁and that area is called " land of extinct volcanoes region ", but probably you know about it very well..
I first discovered Poland when I was living in Russia. My girlfriend at the time and I had driven through Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, and Austria on the way to Italy. I was extremely impressed by Poland. And I had not really understood that Poland had mountains. I had always just sort of thought of it as a vast plain. When I decided it was time to leave Russia, I decided to settle in the mountainous region on the border between Poland and Slovakia. That was nine and a half years ago. Poland has a lot of pluses and I think a great future. I feel like the center of mass in Europe is moving east and that in ten or twenty years, Poland and Ukraine will be booming.
Hard to compare Poland and Ukraine. Poland used the last 30 years as they should. Ukraine remained corrupted, poor and ruled by oligarchs with strong ties with Kremlin. Before the war they were 20-30 years behind the rest of post commie Europe. After the war ends they gonna start from even deeper level. In the 90 there were 50 millions of them now there are 25-30 millions people living in Ukraine. And I don't think that many of those who moved west will come back. One- because they have expirienced better, two- because there is nothing to come back to but ruins. And to grow you need a workforce.
I like you both. This from a couple who moved to Mexico based on your videos. But man, you make Poland look soooo good, now I want us to move to Poland! Seriously! We have grown to adore Mexico, our little town Jocotepec, and the prices make us wealthy on retirement social security. Can we know more about the prices? I'll never stop watching. Wish we could afford your coffee. Rock on, my favorite duo. Jenn and Rich will watch every one!
If you want visit Poland is good to do it on April. Start from my town Warsaw :) it"s good place because is on centrum of country. It"s nice to go Kraków and Gdańsk. Best Regards
thank you Jenn and Rich for your kind words of encouragement! Yes--we have a few videos coming up for cost of living and also a challenge in Krakow for how far $10 will get ya in a day!
One thing I can tell you, mis gringuitos, you are NOT like most youtubers. And that is because you both are special people indeed. Your content is always appreciated. Authenticity and high ethics are your marks, no doubt. Hugs from Cancun, amiguitos. Keep it up!
I found you on You Tube during the Covid lockdown when Mexico was the ONLY place we could easily still travel to and because of you and your videos we decided to travel around Mexico for several months. I understand why you had to move on and I've enjoyed seeing your reactions to new places outside of Mexico. I was glad to see you slowing down because I think you've been traveling too quickly. You can really burn out. A month in one location is generally cheaper than moving about all the time. Guess what? First impressions are not always accurate. I've been down on a place at first, perhaps due to the weather or struggle of the travel day or being hangry and not finding anywhere to eat.) Some places take a little time to grow on you. Very pleased to see you in Poland because next year we are planning to stay a month or longer in Poland. (Our 2-month trip around Germany and Poland was canceled in 2020 due to Covid.) Glad you're loving it. I'm sure we will too.
I'm late to the party and have a lot of videos to catch up on but listening to the end of the video I do hate the TH-cam algorithm but I enjoy all your videos that I've seen so far thank you for your journey and taking us along with you
We love you guys because of your wisdom. You are showing realness, which is not something we see on TH-cam. We went to CDMX for Dia de Muertos, based on lots of amazing YT videos. We weren't prepared on how loco it was. We love how raw you can be, and how honest you are. All the best 🥰😊😍
Hilary, I don’t agree with you about expectations! Hear me out. Hahaha! My husband and I have a been to a few countries now and I do my due diligence and research a lot before going because I like to avoid as many glitches as possible and know what to expect as far as how to navigate extremely large foreign airports or what the transportation options are and what to expect or NOT expect from them. Things like that. But for the rest, we leave our expectations at home. We expect that there WILL be glitches, just not as many as could be if we went totally ignorant or expecting IG photos. This way we are totally open to whatever the experience gives us. 😁😁😁🤣 Thanks for taking us along! We love it!!
I definitely vote for authentic Kennons doing authentic things, no outrageous stuff needed. And the youtube algorithm sux. Your videos have opened my eyes to consider places that I never thought of before. You're doing great work. Love you both 😘🥰. ☮️❤️😎
you're guys so cute! Thanks for aknowledging Poland. Poland is super underrated. Plus for Americans it is super affordable and friendly! I've lived in the States for a bit now and miss Poland sooooo much.
Hi, what did you expect from Poland? We're connected to many other beautiful countries. Traveling through Lithuania, our brother country, Czech, Estonia, Hungary, and many more. You wont be disappointed, in any of our neighboring countries. Gorgeous, food great, beautiful people.
Kinetic Kennons if you're worried about your viewership being down have you realized you changed your from where you originally started? It was all about Mexico. You are the main reason I moved to Mexico. And thank you for that. I've been here 3yrs now. Before seeing your videos Mexico was not on my radar. Now you are going to places I'm not really interested in. I have been watching sporadically. I enjoyed today's video. I think maybe I'm more interested in Europe. So I think you will have to build up a new viewer base. New people will find you. When you go to places that are very cold that's not for me. I will continue to be a subscriber. I'm sure new people will find your videos. 👍
I admire your honesty but this does not resonante with everybody. I for one love Mexico but I was tired of seeing their Mexico videos and I am super thrilled with these recent videos. In fact I am watching more of their videos now than I have ever had! So many people are making videos in Mexico, I feel it’s really refreshing to watch videos from Poland. The kennons are just good people , why stress them out by pointing out their views are down? We need to support them in their new adventures! That is what it’s all about ☺️
I subscribe to a lot of diffrent content, all of these chanels i watch are REAL down to earth videos, from gardening to homesteading, no stunts or staging just day to day real life, just keep it real and ppl will follow😊
I'm not looking for wild, crazy, epic, Mr Beast style adventures. I started watching your videos at the beginning of 2018 when we decided to move to Mexico, and absolutely loved them. I was disappointed when you left Mexico, but you're the only TH-camrs I've continued to watch once you left for your travels. All the others who I followed while they were in Mexico, I stopped following when they left. Your wonderment, sense of adventure, honesty, love for each other, and non-drama selves are just a few of the reasons I continue to watch, enjoy, and appreciate your videos. I've also been impressed with the very important life lessons you're learning, that takes most people many more years than it has taken the two of you. I plan to continue along with you on your travels - Anne
Anne--thank you so much for this encouragement! We're learning SO much about the world and ourselves and hope to continue to create meaningful work. Thank you for your support and for coming along!
Sometimes expectations are far above what the destination can actually provide. I love going to Mexico but remember my first visit was a bit below what the 'brochures' and videos portrayed. Now I go for the sun and relaxation with no real preconceived expectations other that the sun will shine, the food will be good and the views/sunsets over the ocean pleasant. Life is what YOU make of it. Do the things you like to do without trying to please everyone. Don't try and emulate other successful travel channels and each personality is different. I for one, never got 'tired' of your travels in Mexico...always looked forward to those. Here's some tips: how much does it cost to live in Poland? how much is a home or rental there? What's some fun facts from the Country? Where do they go to vacation? Hope this helps from a loyal follower.
You see.. the NE of England has racing pigeons that inter-bred with wild ones. On the Wansbeck river, where I live, the fastest turbo charged pigeons launch themselves off the bridge like missiles. Hard to catch at the best of times. Where ever your wings take you…As always, your videos are ace…
Make few expectations, keep traveling, keep going, share what you can, and keep it all with your Kinnon Humor and it will be fine. I think all your fans appreciate as I do all your vlogs so keep on keeping on. I pray for your safety in your travels. Just keep rockin it as you are. You will be Fine.
Love you guys and love your content. You make Poland look like a great place to live, but you can't stop it from snowing, so if I get the chance to, I will retire in Mexico. Can't do Patreon yet, still haven't found a job, but when I can, I will!
Isn’t it a bit weird that “the algorithm” started doing its thing once you stopped making Mexico videos? This is what happens when you build an audience based on a specific niche and then pivot to something else. The audience tends to pivot as well.
Żeby sprostać własnym oczekiwaniom warto mieć plan i przewodnik Marschala.
Hey you 2 crazy kids! Ya we miss you in Mexico but we understand, you're still fun to watch. I watch on different devices going that helps, I'm commenting now because I think that helps, the wife just got on your patron too!! Keep on keeping on!!! We going to Mexico this week and are worried about dog poop everywhere, bad expectations, but hope we love it like you showed us, good expectations.... Hope to retire there soon!!! We love you, Tim and Kim!!!
Poland is very clean. I recommend you to visit Szczeliniec i Błędne Skały (Góry Stołowe) - near the Czech border. On Czech side you must visit Skywalk and Skybridge + Adršpach (Stone City).
There is a lot to say about Poland. You can talk about the cities. There are the unique ones: Gdansk, Warsaw, Wroclaw, Krakow, Poznan. There are the different regions like Silesia, the Baltic sea coast, The Mazovian lakes, the east Polish forests. You can talk about the myriad of different sausages and pierogi and other foods and polish wodka. And then the young dynamic people versus the traditional and very VERY conservative catholics.. (The church is king in Poland). There is a lot to discuss.. But you should visit and you will enjoy!
Poland was "the other woman" The UK was my platonic lover but Switzerland is my true love. Honestly fell in love with Switzerland, lived there for a month and it was magical xD
1:30 zlotyh is actually correct for 9, zlote is for 2, 3, 4 (and numbers that end with it like 23, 34 except 12, 13, 14 where zlotyh is once again correct).
6:29 Durian Fruit starts to taste good after 4th or so try, with few days separation between each take. Some “magic” happens and awfulness disappears, replaced by sweetness. Am Polish in China. Forced myself to accept Durian because otherwise bumping at it once every now and then was unbearable 😅
Pigeon Pie! I didn't know ppl still ate pigeons, if that's why those pigeons were taken. That must be against some law. What a thing to witness. I love Poland from your videos. Krackow looks beautiful and magical. I think you guys fit really well. The food looks yummy. The horses that were drawing the carriage were absolutely gorgeous. I love the direction of your videos. Stay safe. I do love the stories. Love you both!🌴👣👣👣🏖️☺️💙
Not really getting the expectation thing. If you’ve met your expectations, that’s a win and ought to be a reason to be happy. Otherwise, you setting yourself up to be dissatisfied. Let’s see how it goes when winter sets in, you need better gloves and shoes for sure! I love your adventures, keep rolling!!
Recently I visited Paris. Going there we had somewhat negative approach. Well, our experience proved to be very positive. It shows you that one can't predict the final outcome of ones expectations.
3:00 you absolutely mustn't film while crossing the route. In Polan this is forbiden by law and the cars are also required to stop while you cross the route as long as there is a pedestrian crossing.
12:00 eh i wouldn't say that's the biggest concern- loving pigeons is cool but i dont think thats the biggest thing maybe they were taking them for help or sth
Don't overdo it with these plums. If you have difficulty with ...... the home remedy is to drink a drink made of dried plums, also after a large meal - you rush to the toilet.
In order to cross the street in Vietnam you need to daré to submerge into the river of motor bikes and move at steady pace, you can't accelerate or slow down. They will find the way around you.
My advice... Traditional, handmade and homemade food (not factory catering) can be found in a place called "Bar Mleczny" ("The Milk Bar"), a kind of canteen. Relatively cheap and very tasty food. I recommend Pierogi Ruskie (Russian Dumplings) and Pierogi z mięsem (Meat Dumplings), Żórek (Polish rye soup), Kotlet schabowy z ziemniakami i mizerią (Pork chop with potatoes and cucumber or salad), Gulasz (Goulash), Placki ziemniaczane z sosem pieczarkowym (Potato Pancakes with Mushroom Sauce), Bigos ("Hunter's Stew" - chopped meat of various kinds stewed with sauerkraut and shredded fresh cabbage) and finally Szarlotka (Polish Apple Pie) with Kompot (traditional fruit drink). P. S. Next time, don't forget to buy very delicious Polish tomatoes, called Pomidory Malinowe (Raspberry Tomatoes), at the local market. ☝️
How do you approach expectations whenever you travel?
with alcohol. hahaha!
I travel with zero expectations.
I travel for new and interesting moments.
I try to immerse myself into the local vibe.
I ask my cab driver where he eats, not where all the tourists eat. The world is a wildly diverse place. People should not want to change a place but rather enjoy it as it should be enjoyed.
Just an old wanderer's opinion.
Peace to all.
There’s an old wise saying “expect nothing and you’ll never be disappointed” in other words just go for the adventure.

Very pleased to see you in Poland because next year we are planning to stay a month or longer in Poland. (Our 2-month trip around Germany and Poland was canceled in 2020 due to Covid.) Glad you're loving it. I'm sure we will too.
Hola Merrill! Thanks for the encouragement! I think you're going to LOVE Poland!
Krakow is beautiful!
Ps. You are lovely couple. ❤️ Greetings from Poland. 😉
We love it!!
yes--expect glitches! haha--love it!
What a beautiful compliment! God bless you two ❤️
I definitely vote for authentic Kennons doing authentic things, no outrageous stuff needed. And the youtube algorithm sux. Your videos have opened my eyes to consider places that I never thought of before. You're doing great work. Love you both 😘🥰. ☮️❤️😎
Pam-thank you so much for this encouragement! And also thank you so much for your support over on PayPal too!
you're guys so cute! Thanks for aknowledging Poland. Poland is super underrated. Plus for Americans it is super affordable and friendly! I've lived in the States for a bit now and miss Poland sooooo much.
Best regards from Krakow :)
Have you been to the John Paul Center? It´s a good hike and really interesting.
no we haven't---thanks for the recommendation!
That is what it’s all about ☺️
I subscribe to a lot of diffrent content, all of these chanels i watch are REAL down to earth videos, from gardening to homesteading, no stunts or staging just day to day real life, just keep it real and ppl will follow😊
thanks for the encouragement!
I think you could look into the cultural side of where you travel to. Authors and traditions. Just a bit of recommending. I like everything else!
I might patreon .
You're nice, open people! Greetings from Krakow!
You see.. the NE of England has racing pigeons that inter-bred with wild ones. On the Wansbeck river, where I live, the fastest turbo charged pigeons launch themselves off the bridge like missiles. Hard to catch at the best of times. Where ever your wings take you…As always, your videos are ace…
Poland is also a decent country for using the metric system... kilometer, kilo, etc. for context, NASA went metric in 2007... :)
Make few expectations, keep traveling, keep going, share what you can, and keep it all with your Kinnon Humor and it will be fine. I think all your fans appreciate as I do all your vlogs so keep on keeping on. I pray for your safety in your travels. Just keep rockin it as you are. You will be Fine.
thank you os much for your kind encouragement!
Love you guys and love your content. You make Poland look like a great place to live, but you can't stop it from snowing, so if I get the chance to, I will retire in Mexico. Can't do Patreon yet, still haven't found a job, but when I can, I will!
thank you so much for your kind words Cindy! You're right--we can't stop it from snowing which may be the least appealing part!
10:25 One day who know you might end up here in Krakow. Yes I end up here in Krakow - My new home
It's very good that you liked Poland. I also like the fact that stereotypes, false statements ... do not apply to us Poles. Regards
Hi Tim and Kim! Thank you so much for this and for becoming a Patron! You are going to LOVE Mexico! Have such a great time!
What month did you go to avoid and go when is warmer 😊
Because the Church is King in 🇵🇱 Poland, this country is what it is. Long Life to the King!!!
Poland was "the other woman" The UK was my platonic lover but Switzerland is my true love. Honestly fell in love with Switzerland, lived there for a month and it was magical xD
haha!
Omg! Finally! Gloves! ❤🔥👏🏼🔥❤. 😅😅😅
we're big time now :) haha!
I travelled all over Europe and most of the world. Poland is the best of Europe.
You guys are OG!😃👍
It's so lovely video
pidgeons are typical for old town centres throughout wolke Europe guys, in some places you can see seagulls which are much worse
Can you share what camera and audio you are using in this video?
I love ❤real videos.
Like yours ‼️
was it easy getting wock?
1:30 zlotyh is actually correct for 9, zlote is for 2, 3, 4 (and numbers that end with it like 23, 34 except 12, 13, 14 where zlotyh is once again correct).
Every day life videos for sure!
4:10 i mean that is not equally common, there si a fourth one where they are not met but it is not worse, just different
Forgotten gem - Lublin, not a big city but worth to staying for 2 days, great food and just nice for chilling.
Love you both!🌴👣👣👣🏖️☺️💙
thank you Paula! and pigeon pie--really?! haha. The horses in town are SO pretty and elegant!
Golabki nie maja w sobie miesa golebi.
No no... pigeon pie does not containt any pigeon in it ! We don't eat pigeon... it is just a word-game
OMG! In Poland, we don't eat pigeons :P A dish called "gołąbek" is meat wrapped in cabbage and cooked in sauce. But it's pork! 🤦♀🤦♀🤦♀
We are headed to PVR next week. Not going to be the same without the Kennons.🙃
awww :( Have a margarita and some good tacos for us!!
12:00 eh i wouldn't say that's the biggest concern- loving pigeons is cool but i dont think thats the biggest thing
maybe they were taking them for help or sth
Did yal move there ??? Why did yal leave Mexico ??
Any idea what they did with those pigeons?
NO IDEA!
Awesome just do what you do
Love krakow greetings from London
Krakòw is unique. Krakòw is one special place. Not all Poland is like that.
I love the long form city reviews you should just have a few goofy wera shorts video and help Drive traffic
Don't overdo it with these plums. If you have difficulty with ...... the home remedy is to drink a drink made of dried plums, also after a large meal - you rush to the toilet.
Love that you’re exploring Poland. Gdańsk is a beautiful city - hope you get a chance to go there. And Auschwitz is a very educational experience
thanks for the recommendations!
In order to cross the street in Vietnam you need to daré to submerge into the river of motor bikes and move at steady pace, you can't accelerate or slow down. They will find the way around you.
haha--so true!
13:53 i mean that's still cool to do a funny challenge
Not advertising, but since you've been to Kraków maybe come again and to a proper cross country tour? There's a lot of places to see.
