I've waited to make any comments but have been working with this unit for over six months and it has had SEVERAL issues and Straumann/Dental Wings chalk it all up to scanning technique error. We Demo'd a unit before buying and was able to achieve a pretty decent scan as a complete novice but after attempting well over 100 scans we've only been able to use maybe 20 for actual lab fabrication. Have made over 17 phone calls for tech support for literally nothing to change. With a full warranty of one year, I think we have given it enough time for them to work out any kinks. I have even requested another training session so that someone within Straumann can see how the system is working and hopefully determine that scanning technique is a cop out response.
