    Really liked this... and thought the motor oil stain was a genius move that fits. Thanks!

      Thanks! Ive seen it done a few times and finally tried it. So far it has worked great repelling water.

    Sell it n go back to 7.3. The content it more exiting

    • @LivingOnWheels
      @LivingOnWheels  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Even if I had another 7.3 truck content is not my top priority right now. I’m looking forward to getting back to it but my home and property is my main focus for the immediate future. I will own another 7.3 at some point.

    Looks good! Do you like the support 2x4’s facing out to the road or in towards the cargo? I always had mine facing into the bed on my old Bradford built

    • @LivingOnWheels
      @LivingOnWheels  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I thought about doing it that way. I suppose i could just flip these around if I wanted to do that haha. I built them us way though cause I figured if I had anything pushing out against them it would push into the support and wouldn’t run the risk of ripping off. That’s probably pretty unlikely though.

    Look good really used motor oil

    • @LivingOnWheels
      @LivingOnWheels  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not sure if that was a question or not haha but yes used motor oil. Gas engine not diesel. I’m sure diesel would’ve turned out very dark

    I have a 2003 6.0 with a 5” exhaust, other then that it’s bone stock, is there any tunes that increase fuel economy and horse power but still proven to be reliable?

    • @LivingOnWheels
      @LivingOnWheels  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Honestly, I don’t know the 6.0 tuning world enough to make a recommendation but I am sure there is a good option to do just that.

    WOW! That is Schweeeet. Totally old school look, you nailed it. I would have never even though about using used oil in that capacity. Well done Sir.
