Miami Hurricanes Receive 2 NEW RECRUITING PREDICTIONS | Update On Pickett | Conference Realignment

- The Miami Hurricanes have received two new predictions for blue chip prospects in the Class of 2025, including a consensus five star defensive lineman. Gary Ferman from CaneSport On3 logged an RPM Prediction for Miami to land Iose Epenesa, the third ranked defensive lineman in the class. Steve Wilftong, On3’s VP, logged an RPM for the Hurricanes to land four star WR Daylyn Upshaw. Wilftong added a note on DJ Pickett. He heard Miami might indeed be trending for the five star defensive back. Most of the recent national smoke has been pointing Pickett to Oregon.
Host Alex Donno breaks down these new predictions and notes. Donno describes which receivers Cam Ward has already built a solid relationship with. Miami has the most talented overall roster in the ACC but can they put everything together this season? Are the Hurricanes taking a risky approach with wide receiver recruiting? I read an article from a national media outlet that 11 of the B1G presidents said they would unequivocally NOT vote in any institution that did not have AAU accreditation. FSU and Clemson will not be headed to the B1G unless they get AAU status which is unlikely in the next few years.

around the 23 minute mark, i agree with the point the guy si trying to make / a variation of it anyways/ yes Miami needs to do a better job with local recruiting and thinnk building better roots, hardening the already set ones, and expanding the roots to all highschools. Make them get more recognition because of it, hopefully better funding ( for the ones that are not known as elite like Heritage etc. I remember all the buzz around cooper sity north western etc the grounds for prime cultivation here if you get my analogy is ripe and should be taken advantage of. Perhaps a coordination with all highschools with the help of the state and top coaches as liasons mainly Miami coaches can guide this movement into next levels. Im tired of hearing about other top highschools in the country when Miami north south west and east has all we need if properly nurtured.
Folks clowning the Big 12 but honestly they have a higher floor than the ACC and truly in the last few years the Big 12 ceiling has been just as good (TCU, Cincy, Kstate) adding the top 4-5acc brands to the big12 would make for a pretty solid power 3rd option

Loving all the positive recruiting news but with all the news coming out about FSU & Clemson going to the BIG12 I can c us being on the outside looking in when the dust settles. Those 2 r leaving the ACC. It’s just a matter of time. Unfortunately I don’t c many Conferences wanting to add a small private school. Meanwhile we’ll b in no mans land w/ scrub schools like Wash st & Oregon St.
Difficult to land stud WRs when we have one 3-4 star QB committed in the 2025 class. Look at the QB rooms of the schools these stud wideouts end up at.
